When you take your first step into the grand entry of this luxury home rental, you’ll be struck by its beauty. Tremendous care and attention have been given to the finest details in the home, from the lofty windows with nature views, to the sophisticated, yet comfy décor, to the wonderful flow of space – ideal for entertaining or escaping. The home boasts a gourmet kitchen that is perfect for both Mom's cooking or the gourmet chef in the family. The design of the home allows for large dinner parties where friends remain connected, yet have their own space when needed.
Set on an acre just minutes from the quiet historic town of Eugenia, this sleek home takes in nature and the beautiful scenery which surrounds it. Put your feet up and relax by the fireplace in the double-height great room, or breathe in the fresh air from fire pit, or glass-railing balcony.

The quiet "off the beaten path" public beach area of Lake Eugenia is about a one minute walk from the house where you can swim or kayak (2 complementary Kayaks available), or build sand castles, use the boat launch, docks, fish or bike/walk in the neighbourhood to the children's park, Flying Chestnut restaurant, ice-cream shop, Eugenia Falls, Beaver Valley views, etc..

Beautiful home next to beach area

My family and I had a fantastic time staying at John and Franca’s cottage home! Our group consisted of 5 adults, one toddler and a newborn and 2 pups. The pictures are reflective of the property and it really is that beautiful and well-maintained. The home is probably the best stocked home we have ever stayed with - it had everything including items for our pups! The owners were incredible hosts and super responsive. Absolute pleasure to communicate with :)

Fun and relaxing trip

It's a beautiful house with all the amenities you could ask for. The owners Franca and John were very helpful and accommodating, they made the whole process super easy. My family had a great time canoeing and kayaking in the nearby lake, cooking up a storm in the impressive kitchen, and just relaxing in the quiet neighborhood. Also we brought our dog, and he loved the big backyard, I think he was sad to head back to city life .

Impeccable home, memorable stay

My daughter and I really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was clean, contemporary and comfortable. The location is perfect for hiking, swimming, kayaking and cycling. We hope to be back!

Beautiful home, kitchen is a dream

We loved our stay here, the kitchen is a dream to cook in. Everything was well thought out for entertaining and being together as a group for the weekend. Location also great. Would highly recommend. Unfortunately during our stay there was a leak in the main bathroom, but the hosts were quick to respond, I hope it's fixed soon because I would still consider coming back!

Better than our home

Impeccably clean cottage - really is a home. Great location within walking distance of Lake Eugenia and restaurants in the town. Fishing in the lake was excellent - lots of bass.

Beautiful

This property was perfect for our family and dog. Huge backyard with the trail to the lake, public beach by the lake was a short walk. The home itself is very modern but still had the cottage feel. Our kids ages from 10-17 loved the place! Communication was easy and fast and the host was very accomodating. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

good place for family

The property was nice. The overall experience was good. There isn't any AC- so was very hot especially at night. And there are no blinds in one of the bedrooms. These are easy to resolve so hopefully all ready for the next visitors! The area itself is great. Small beach nearby and a number of small town to visit and explore. Great spot for a family.

A great getaway for our family of four (2 adults + 2 kids)

House is beautiful, clean and modern - the pictures accurately depict this. It was well-equipped with everything a family needs for a stay. We were warned in advance that there was no air conditioning, but the owner intended to install this at the next available opportunity. If you plan on staying during a hot period, I recommend you check if this work has been completed. For our stay in June 2021, multiple fans were provided which did the job of circulating the warm air and cooling us down. The beds were very comfortable, and it took us a few tries to find the private waterfront which was more of a “clearing” (no sandy beach) but the kids enjoyed swimming there with nobody around. The Property Manager was very responsive to all of our questions, and very friendly and helpful. As a summer rental, I would definitely recommend as long as an air conditioning unit is available.

Beautiful lake house

This lake house was very beautiful, spacious, clean and free of clutter. They have everything you could need on the property to be able to cook your meals. The location is very nice, only a min walk to Eugenia lake and not far from Eugenia and Hogg falls by any means. We took a hike on the Hogg falls trail over to Eugenia falls which was very pretty. The property manager was able to give us a little info and tips on this. They were also attentive with their communication so things moved smoothly. My only sort of gripe was that an air conditioning unit hasn’t been installed yet because the property is very newly built but it was pretty hot the few days we went. Otherwise I really enjoyed the property and would definitely like to come back again sometime.
