Welcome to The Roost, a cozy cabin retreat tucked into a gorgeously landscaped property just 10 minutes from downtown Fredericksburg. Whether you're planning a romantic getaway for two or a fun escape with friends or family, this thoughtfully designed cabin offers comfort, charm, and convenience in the heart of the Texas Hill Country.



The Space:

Inside, The Roost features a warm and inviting layout with a king-size bed, a twin daybed nestled in a cozy corner nook, and a charming upstairs loft with two twin beds—comfortably sleeping up to five guests.



The well-equipped kitchenette includes a mini fridge, microwave, sink, toaster, and Keurig, along with a countertop and bar stools for casual dining.



The bathroom features a spacious walk-in shower and a generous vanity countertop with plenty of room to spread out and get ready in comfort.



The screened-in porch with a table and chairs offers a peaceful spot to sip coffee, enjoy a meal, or simply take in the fresh country air.



Guests can also enjoy the shared outdoor gazebo area, complete with a table and chairs, a fire table for evening relaxation, and a cornhole game for a little friendly competition.



Whether you’re sipping wine under the stars or spending your days exploring Fredericksburg’s shops, wineries, and trails, The Roost is your perfect home base for making lasting Hill Country memories.



Guest Access:

✅ This property has special local compliance requirements which include a signed rental agreement, ID verification, and a security hold of $1000 (which is not a traditional security deposit, just a pending transaction). As an optional alternative to the security hold, you may opt in to purchase a non-refundable damage waiver provided by a third-party insurance company. The optional damage waiver is $53 for stays up to 10 nights, with an additional $1.5 per day for stays longer than 10 nights. Damage waiver purchases are optional.

2. Not all homes have cable; consider setting up a streaming account in advance.

3. Our team is committed to assisting you, though occasional check-in delays may occur during peak periods.

4. WiFi is available in all homes, but uninterrupted service is not guaranteed. No refunds or rate adjustments will be made for mechanical failures, or discontinued or interrupted services that occur during your stay.

5. A $500 fine will be imposed for any evidence of smoking, confetti, vomit residues, or glitter.

6. Set the A/C no lower than 72 degrees to prevent freezing and system issues; no refunds for low-temperature-related A/C problems.

7. Start-up sundries provided for the first two days; report missing items within one hour of arrival.

8. Pet-friendly units welcome pets with an additional fee; ensure pets are well-behaved and respectful.

9. Bugs are common in the Texas Hill Country; pest control is in place, but some insects are inevitable.

10. In Texas, there are periods of time without significant rainfall causing the county to place a ban on burning. Please check the current burn ban status, before using the fire pit at your vacation rental. Check the amenities to see if this rental is equipped with a fire pit.
