HOSTS - Quiet, private, newly renovated guesthouse to yourself behind the home owner's home.
SLEEPS - Up to 4 people in 2 adjoining bedrooms; a queen in the first bedroom & a second room off the bedroom has 2 singles
BATH - 1 bath with a tub/shower combo
KITCHEN - Kitchenette with a refrigerator, Keurig, regular coffeemaker, microwave, toaster & blender
BREAKFAST - Coffee & teas are provided – no breakfast
AMENITIES - Flat screen Cable TV, games, steamer, serene outdoor living space with a pergola, Adirondack chairs & a butane firepit, outdoor market lighting & a gas grill

- Observe the City of Fredericksburg Quiet Hours (10pm to 7am in residential zones). No music of any kind after 10 pm.
- The City of Fredericksburg is a Dark Sky Community with outdoor lighting restrictions. All outdoor lighting is encouraged to be turned off when no one is present to use the light.
- Observe the designated on-site and off-site parking spaces.

Delightful, quaint, cozy, super clean, quiet, complete. It is a two bedroom, ideal for family with kids or girls only trip, as the bedrooms are adjacent. It's within a 15 minute walk from Main street. It rained during our stay and we didn't have a chance to enjoy the fire pit outdoors. That would have been so nice. Totally recommend! :)

The decor is a vibe, i absolutely loved it. The Christmas decorations were so unique and perfect. The house was easy to find, and easy to come and go as we pleased. I will definitely book again one day!

Wonderful place, comfortable beds, AC works good in both rooms, location is perfect walk to the Main Street. Definitely will book this place for our girls trip.

Perfect Getaway

This property was perfect for our weekend stay . It’s just the right size. The bathroom was new, clean and very accommodating. The location was pot on! Thanks for a wonderful weekend filled with many happy memories.

Great location, cute place!

This was a great place a few blocks off of Main Street, and was very cute and clean. Know that one bedroom is located through another bedroom, which can make accessing the bathroom in middle of the night a bit awkward if your group is two couples. It’s a great option for location and price, however!

Cute and ok

If you want to check in before 4, FORGET IT. We had to wait in the car in the carport till the clock struck 4. After traveling, you just want to haul your items inside and get settled. The late check-in made for grumpy evening. The second bedroom is through the 'master'. So guests staying in the second bedroom must go through the master to use the restroom. This was not an issue for my husband, adult son and myself, but others may not like the setup.The description does make note that the property owner is in the front house. But it doesn't state you have no privacy in the yard, the owner is outside and walking his dog, or looking through the screened porch. Some guests may enjoy the company and want hear from the owner and talk about their travel, but my

Repeat stay

This is the second time we have stayed here. I like that its 2 1/2 blocks from Main street. Easy to find and a great location to access everything Fredericksburg. The bed is ultra comfortable and coffee is well stocked. The only issue I had was the drain in tub drains really slow. It needs some attention. Definitely will stay again.

Quaint plce for a quick get away

We love the look & feel of the house. Everything was clean, nice & easy. We will consider staying again when we are over that way next time. It's perfect for a 4 peoples family.

Fantastic Place!

We absolutely loved the house! Clean, decorated quite nicely. We actually walked to the main road to eat and have a few beverages. Will most definitely stay there again real soon!

Bach weekend

This was an amazing house! The beds were comfy, the shower was hot and the air was cold. We enjoyed all the amenities and especially the comfy blankets! Stay here if you get a chance.

Disappointed

The toilet didn’t flush, so I was the added plumber. You could only reheat food in the microwave. Don’t stay here if you want to cook your own meals. The bathroom door was difficult to shut because it was not put on a track so it did not stay shut. I will not stay here again. This caused added stress to a vacation that was sorely needed. Loss of time & money!

Lovely visit

This was a quiet and restful stay in a very cleverly decorated and furnished guesthouse. We had everything we needed in a cute and clean environment with an amazing patio. Everything worked except the Wi-Fi password.

Thanks, Evie, ever so much!

Evie's Hide-A-Way made our family visit to Fredericksburg even more special. The home is in walking distance to downtown. I did drive to HEB for groceries; other than that I walked. Fun decorations and wall hangings. Comfy beds, living room, modern bathroom . . . everything we needed or wanted. One thing I looked for and didn't find was a pot to boil eggs in or a frying pan to fry eggs on the hotplate. Other than that, it was perfect, quiet, beautiful backyard. I hope to visit again, and will, of course, book Evie's Hide-A-Way. Thank you.

Rest and Relaxation

The property was comfortable inside and out. The yard was supplied with outside furniture and shaded by an over-hang. We would be happy to book again. The main street has plenty of restaurants and shops to visit if you want to use them.
