The Coven is a sanctuary for Witches and Warlocks of all ages. With whimsical details and surprises is all the dark corners, this 2 bedroom hideaway is part of a century home nestled in the heart of Uptown, Saint John. Whether it's gaming at Heroes Beacon, live music and shopping at the 506 or ordering a favorite ale at one of the popular pubs, everything is a short walk as the crow flies.
The Coven is perfect for couples, families and your hairy beasts are welcomed too

Everything was exactly as advertised! The Coven is decorated perfectly and the hosts were very responsive! We were 5 sisters so we used the cot and it was very comfortable as were the beds. The host was very thoughtful as there was a little gift for each of us upon our arrival. The location is perfect for visiting downtown Saint John within walking distance to shops, restaurants and markets.

Wow! If i could add bonus points for sheer whimsy, this place would earn them all! The only warning i can provide about this place is that if you are only in St John for one evening (as we were), that you might get sucked into exploring the hundreds of fascinating details about this space at the cost of time to explore the city around it. Even as we were packing to leave the next morning, we were still discovering details of the decor that we had previously overlooked. This plus the care and small gift packages left for us made this stay far and away the hilight of a long road trip.

Originally from Vancouver BC we have lived the last 10 years in a big wooden boat in the heart of the city! I am an artist and had a well loved floating art studio/gallery in BC. Now living in beautiful Saint John I have poured my creativity into The Coven Guest House hoping it inspires creativity and fun in everyone who visits.
