Where will I be?
Bayside is located is only 100 metres from the water's edge! The Hyams Beach Cafe is also only a 150 metre walk from the house. Bayview Avenue is located at the southern end of Hyams Beach.
Why choose Bayside?
Bayside is a charming beach house with great character, and a location that enables you to wander to the beach on a whim. The house is modernised but retains all the charming features of the original beach house - cathedral ceilings, French doors opening to large deck areas, timber floor boards, cosy bedrooms. Close enough to the beach to capture the sea breeze, but private enough to unwind in a peaceful setting.
How is the property laid out?
The downstairs layout of the house provides for two living areas opening to the front and back decks, a dining area, the kitchen, a shared bathroom, an internal laundry and a good sized bedroom with French doors that open onto the deck. Upstairs has two bedrooms - one with a queen bed and one with two single beds. There is also a toilet upstairs.
WiFi, Internet, Netflix or Pay TV - will I have it?
This property provides complimentary Wi-Fi and a password will be provided in your pre-arrival email, or will be available at the property.
Please note however that neither the agency nor the owner can guarantee 100% that the internet is always in service, and no compensation will be payable if problematic. If important, please therefore always have a backup plan. If internet access is critical during you stay, please make sure that you have a Plan B!
What about outdoors?
Bayside has a large patio in the backyard, perfect for eating and relaxing outdoors and enjoying the surround treescape. There are established gardens and a Council reserve at the rear of the property - giving total privacy, tranquility and an abundance of birdlife. The front deck is a great sun trap to relax in.
Staying warm or keeping cool?
Heating is provided by gas heaters, and the house can be opened up to catch the sea breeze on warmer days.
What about sheets, towels and other supplies?
High quality sheets and towels are provided at Bayside. However, please bring your own beach towel!
Parking for cars, boats etc?
There is parking on the driveway for 2 cars. Street parking is also available.
Is my dog or cat also welcome to stay?
Bayside is not pet friendly. Please contact us for a list of our many other pet-friendly options!
What are the minimum stay rules?
- Summer Season: Between 2 and 7 nights, depending on the property
- Easter: 4 nights
- Long Weekends: 3 nights
- All other times: 2 nights
Are there any special Summer Season rules?
Please note that during Summer Season, our properties may have designated changeover days so as to make the cleaning rosters manageable. We also do not schedule arrivals on the Christmas, Boxing, and New Years Day public holidays.
