Autumn break

Fabian and Petra were very obliging and helpful when we needed to change our booking date at late notice. Seaside Serenade is in a great location, very private and quiet. The kitchen was amazing and well supplied with cooking appliances, crockery and glassware. Our family group of six enjoyed our weekend very much.

Fantastic!

Precious gem in one of Australia's most beautiful beaches. The house is located on the edge of the village, with its back right to the National Park. Rooms have comfy beds.The beautifully renovated kitchen is superb and very well equiped. The lounge and dining areas are very pleasant, with it's windows and glass panels bringing in a lot of light and the beautiful forest surrounding the property.Outside area has a huge table and is great for outdoor dining.Fabian and Petra were really great hosts, very responsive through out our stay. Communication was always smooth, with clear instructions for check-in, check-out, and how to operate the house.Highly recommended.

Perfect Hyams location with a short walk to the beach

Really great house close to the beach and with beautiful forest (and walks) on the one side. Great kitchen with living area separate to bedrooms which we found good with our younger kids. Great sundowners on the upstairs balcony and from the outdoor area. Excellent and very organised hosts who care alot and take pride in their property.

Beautifully positioned beach and bushland setting

Our group really enjoyed the very comfortable house with a beautiful outlook and easy access to bush walks, birdwatching and beach. Our only recommendation would be that the very comprehensive instructions for the house may be more practical if they are all included in one communication and/or our hosts had just directed us to read them in one document in the house.

Beautiful views at a relaxing pace

The property was very neat and tidy, and the owners have put a lot of thought into what is needed in a rental for the most relaxing stay possible. I would throughly recommend this property an easy walk to a beautiful beach and short drive to all major shops. Communication and instructions about the property were very helpful. My family and I would definitely stay here again.

Superb natural experience

If you are looking for a well-appointed and comfortable place with only a 2 minute walk to be on the white sands of the beach this is for you. The house is surrounded by luscious native fernery and trees with views to the water and complete privacy from other neighbours. The hosts, Fabian & Petra, were wonderfully helpful and professional. A return visit is genuinely on our minds.

Home in the bush

Very nice property in the bush and super close to the beach. Down the nice quiet end of Hyams near the National park. House is very nice and well appointed with ocean and bush views.

Perfect

This is an extremely comfortable, clean and well situated property. Our extended family of 9 thoroughly enjoyed our weekend on the beach punctuated by meals on the patio amongst the trees. Everything you need is there and the owner is very responsive if you have any questions.

Family Holiday

Wow Wow Wow. Loved every minute of our stay here. We had a group of 8. There was plenty of room for us all to spread out and relax. The house overlooked the sea, and we spent plenty of time on the very comfortable lounge chair looking out to the sea. The kitchen is well stocked so you don't need to bring anything from home. The beds are very comfortable. Thankyou Fabian and Petra. We had a 10 out 10 stay.....

Cleanest property I’ve ever been to

host was very generous and professional, beds was very comfortable, kitchen very modern, carpet is very clean, I was able to check a lot earlier then was agreed and checked out a lot past my time as well. I will definitely go back again.

Pure perfection

In the 10 years we have travelled to Jervis Bay for our long weekend breaks this property is by far the most outstanding. From 2 minute location to Hyams beach to the beautiful spotlessly clean house, we will definitely be back.

Excellent winter getaway

This property was a little pricey, but the stunning view across the bay and the setting at the edge of the national park made for a very relaxing few days. Thank you to Fabian and Petra for hosting us.

A perfect winter getaway!

The Seaside Serenade is a wonderful house for a weekend getaway or longer - we stayed for a week and wish it could have been a month! The pictures don't really capture the best bits of the house - the huge kitchen windows overlooking endless forest, the sound of the crashing waves as you fall asleep each night or the winter sun coming through the windows as you cuddle up on a comfy couch overlooking the ocean. The location is amazing - a minutes walk to Hyams beach and other amazing beaches a short drive (or a walk!) away. There is heaps of room to spread out and our kids loved the bunk beds. It's a very quiet location, we heard no noise from the neighbours. And the winter weather for us was incredible - we had several beautiful (but fresh!) swims. Petra and Fabian were a delight to deal with and had loads of helpful information if needed but also just gave us the space to enjoy their beautiful house. The kitchen is awesome to cook in - there is no appliance that hasn't been thought of. We would love to return - it really was a magical week away. Highly recommend!

Quiet and close to the beach

We had a very good time while staying at the property. Place is big enough for the large group, it has all facilities and really close to the beautiful beach. I only wish that property used as a holiday short-stay home has less complex kitchen appliances, it took us a while to figure out how to use an induction stove :)

Lovely home with the beach a stones throw away.

Seaside Serenade is a lovely comfortable townhouse with a great kitchen. We fed the birds, fell asleep to crashing waves and ate alfresco under the trees. We’d go again but missed our dog who usually comes to Hyams with us.

Great place

Good location, near the beach, very clean, very well equipped. Kitchen was very well stocked. Rooms are clean and very comfortable, cozy fireplace. Out back there is a bench with a great view of the bay. Very friendly host who called to check that we were settled in fine. Would definitely come back again
