Modern vibes, a fenced yard for your pup, and just one block from Bayfield’s cute shops and cafés—Louisa Landing is your new happy place. This stylish 3-bedroom cottage sleeps six comfortably and is perfect for families, couples, and dog-lovers alike. Whether you're sipping wine on the deck, roasting marshmallows by the firepit, or letting the kids (and dogs!) run wild, this spot is all about good times and great memories.

INSIDE:
Kick off your shoes and settle into vacation mode. The living room is the perfect chill zone with a cozy faux fireplace, squishy couch, and a TV for movie nights or lazy mornings. Just a few steps away, there’s a sunny dining nook for six and a bright, cheerful kitchen that’s ready for everything from pancake flips to wine-and-cheese nights. Both bathrooms are decked out with spa-like walk-in showers (no tiny tubs here!).
And when you need a little extra space to spread out, the downstairs lounge is your go-to hangout—with another TV, more comfy seating, and major nap vibes.

OUTSIDE:
The backyard? Total vibe. Grill up some burgers on the BBQ, eat under the stars on the big ol’ deck, then gather ‘round the firepit in those funky chairs for s’mores, stories, and maybe a little wine. Got kids or pups in tow? Let them run wild in the fully fenced yard—yes, we love dogs and welcome two! There’s even a front-yard “Dog Stick Library” and a little water bowl station, because your four-legged friends deserve a getaway too. Whether you’re sipping your morning coffee in the sun or stargazing by the fire, the good times just keep rolling at Louisa Landing.

NOTE: I expect we will have more beach this Summer 2025, depending on lake levels and what the lake pushes up. There are lake accesses all along Tuyll Street which is a great adventure to find your favorite! And you can walk 2 min to the Main Beach.
The lakebed can be sandy or stoney depending on what the lake gives you that day. But it sure is fun to try to find the ever changing sandbars. Generally you will find sand 3ft out. It's fun to go stone collecting - Lake Huron is a geologists paradise! Just bring some water shoes. The nice thing is, it's not weedy or slimy at all.

NOTE: Parking is limited to 3 vehicles
Max 2 pets are allowed

Linens are available for $20/per person. This includes Tea Towels, Dishcloths, Sheets & Pillowcases, Bathroom towels, Hand towels and Face cloths. Does not include Beach Towels.

Note: All Guests are required to sign a separate cottage rental agreement and provide government issued photo id. Including names of all guests who will occupy the property. Primary renter must be over 25, photo id is required. Only those occupants listed on the Rental Agreement, are allowed to occupy the property. A separate security deposit of $500 is required.

Visit during the off-season to catch favorite annual events like VetteFest or for a girl's getaway weekend—we're happy to suggest our favorite local spas, wineries and breweries, shops, and yoga classes.

With wooded trails, scenic country vistas, and stunning Lake Huron, Bayfield is a beautiful place to explore no matter the season. Bring your hiking boots and plan a trip during leaf-peeping season for a display of color, or come enjoy the quiet of winter and crunch through the snow in evergreen forests.

Our Winter Weather Cancellation Policy is designed with your safety in mind. If winter conditions make travel unsafe or if there are road closures preventing you from reaching the cottage, you have flexible options:

❄ Reschedule – Move your booking to a future date that works for you.
❄ Full Refund – If rescheduling isn’t possible, you can cancel for a full refund.
