This Cozy Coastal Retreat is a 3-bedroom waterfront property on beautiful Lake Huron in Bayfield, just minutes between Grand Bend and Goderich.

Overlooking the Lake Huron, you will wake up to the most breathtaking view imagined! The property has a private beach to enjoy, with private access to the beach from the backyard and an all-season hot tub.

There’s nothing quite like enjoying a freshly made margarita from our Margaritaville or sipping a glass of wine while watching the picturesque sunset

We decided to have our family Christmas at this cottage and we were very happy with our stay. The host was amazing and very quick to respond. The hot tub, sunset and lake view have given us lovely memories and we would love to return in the summer. Our dog loved it too!

Dalton was very responsive and helpful. The cottage had everything we needed, was cozy, with a stunning view. We’d love to return in the summer so we can enjoy the beach deck and other outdoor amenities, although the hot tub was lovely on the cold nights. Thank you!

Two adults stayed October 2025.The cottage was cozy as advertised, right on the water. We felt very safe in the area. The kitchen and bathroom were fully equipped and the beds very comfortable. The cottage was clean, had wifi ,comfortably furnished and equipped with a big screen tv The hot tub was a treat and the sunsets viewed from the hot tub was a double treat. We would definitely rent this cottage again.

This cottage and property was everything we hoped for and more. To start, it is the cutest little cottage with an amazing view of beautiful Lake Huron. The sunsets were stunning from the hottub. We were a family of 4 adults and 2 small dogs and there was plenty of room for us to all spread out. The yard is fully fenced, which was wonderful for the dogs to play. The stairs to the beach are many, but so worth the climb. The beach area below was a great place to spend a few hrs a day, listening to the waves and playing in the water. Bring beach shoes as Lake Huron is known for it's rocky shores and crystal clear water. This cottage is so well equipped with so many amenities, I lost count. My daughters went paddle boarding every day and my dog sat at the gate to the beach all the time, hoping someone would take him back down. We enjoyed our stay so much and couldn't have asked for more. We would highly recommend this great property to families, couples or even a girls getaway. We would love to go back again one day.

The games available to play were lots of fun.

A perfect lake cottage experience

The cottage is welcoming and comfortable. We enjoyed everything it offered - hot tub, firepit, lawn games, drinking our morning coffees outdoors on the deck. However, the most wonderful part of our vacation was the private beach. We swam and played on the beach every day. The children - ages 6 and 9 - loved it. It is a quiet, relaxed location but still just a five to 10 minute drive to Foodland grocery store and the town of Bayfield. I hope to return next summer.

Cottage looked newly renovated and overall very clean, but very rustic. Cottage is compact and designed to get everything you would need into a small place. No laundry facilities on site. Close to Bayfield and lots of parking, view of the lake was perfect and in the Summer you have a small private beach. Hot tub was everything we were looking for.

Nice smaller property, all you really need for a getaway. Long way down to the water, not really a beach for swimming at.

Everything was as advertised. Extremely clean and well kept cottage. Hot tub was excellent especially with the cooler temperatures. Really liked the location, it was exactly what we were looking for.

It was beautiful! The hot tub was amazing, a little small but the perfect size for close friend / or family fun! Gorgeous view, a lot of extra kitchen tools and such are provided on site which was amazing!

Amazing cottage, but close to neighbors

You can tell the owners love this cottage. So many thoughtful details and care in this home. we stayed for two nights and definitely could have stayed longer. A quick note- both neighbours are very close as the property is beautiful but narrow. They were blasting music very loudly most of the day and both nights but graciously turned it down when we asked, but we could still hear it through the walls. This is not something the owners can control though. Normally I wouldn't care about music but since my girls are toddlers they need to be in bed by 8pm. Also the stairs to the beach are exhausting (103 steps) so be prepared! The hosts were very communicative and answered all my questions almost immediately. If you are ok being close to neighbors and stairs then this cottage has all you need!

Charming Cottage

The cottage was totally charming and exactly as advertised. The kitchen had everything we needed and the cottage itself was well stocked with all the essentials, plus games, extra blankets, and very comfy beds. The beach felt very private (we were there in March), the views from the cottage are gorgeous and the sunsets are unbeatable. We would definately be happy to visit again!
