Enveloped by full, large trees our cottage is an ideal year-round getaway for large families. From fall to spring, it is also the model host for yoga and team-building retreats.

Go for a round of golf, or a bite to eat, at the White Squirrel Golf Club across the road. Later, BBQ in the spacious backyard and take a short 10-min drive to shop at Bayfield's Main Street or explore Grand Bend. Whether you're here to whisk the family away for a summer holiday, or inspire your team before a big deadline, or meditate in a calm environment—Bluewater Sunset Cottage is the place for groups to reset, reflect, & recharge.

Experience the luxury of our NEWLY ADDED HOT TUB — the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring. Let the warm, bubbling water melt away your stress as you soothe tired muscles, breathe in the fresh air, or soak under a blanket of stars. It’s your new favorite spot to relax and recharge.

NOTE: Approx 80 stairs down to the beach. 2024 there is still a little beach. There is a sea wall here and there will be beach on the wall. The lakebed can be sandy or stoney depending on what the lake gives you that day. But it sure is fun to try to find the ever changing sandbars. Generally you will find sand 3ft out. It's fun to go stone collecting - Lake Huron is a geologists paradise! Just bring some water shoes. The nice thing is, it's not weedy or slimy at all.

EXTRA'S at the cottage include Air Conditioning, Wi-Fi, and SmartTV. We especially love the outdoor gazebo offering shade without detracting from the lake views. And of course the sunset deck!!

Max 1 Dog is Allowed

Linens are available for $20/per person. This includes Tea Towels, Dishcloths, Sheets & Pillowcases, Bathroom towels, Hand towels and Face cloths. Does not include Beach Towels.

NOTE: Primary renter must be 25 yrs old and provide government issued photo id. A separate security deposit of $500 is required.
All Guests are required to sign a separate cottage rental agreement. Including names and ages of all guests who will occupy the property. This property is equipped with a monitoring device (including noise, temp & wifi connections) there are two cameras outside monitoring the parking area and entrance door

Our Winter Weather Cancellation Policy is designed with your safety in mind. If winter conditions make travel unsafe or if there are road closures preventing you from reaching the cottage, you have flexible options:
❄ Delay Your Arrival – If the cottage is available, you can shift your stay by a day or two.
❄ Reschedule – Move your booking to a future date that works for you.
❄ Full Refund – If rescheduling isn’t possible, you can cancel for a full refund.
