This 1922 bungalow has a classic look and feel. Some features include, tall ceilings, original wood floors, and heaps of space for storage.
Some modern features include:
At the rear is a big deck, where you can lay out and enjoy the sun. A new heat pump was installed (April 25), and a new log burner installed (Oct 25), there is a heat transfer system that reaches to all the bedrooms, which is great for the cold temps over the hill in Winter.

Originally, we had hoped we could start a lil family out there in the Wairarapa, but with the demands of work, and the commute, we had to reconsider.
We have put a lot of time, energy, effort, and love into turning our Featherston property into a home.
This home is a classy 1922 bungalow, with a modern twist. All the amenities a family could need. A real “character home”.
We have fully furnished this home, adding our own style and comfort. From selecting bedding, linen, appliances, furniture, decor, and even cutlery, that we love.
We hope you can feel that “homely” feeling, when you stay.

Featherston is quiet and peaceful, with scenic mountain ranges as a back drop, the locals are friendly, no traffic, and with only a few shops around, Featherston still provides you with all you need for a short or long stay.

This home is unique, because of the size and features we’ve included to make this a home. New heat pump, new log burner, vintage furniture, back porch and deck - great for lounging in the sun, a big tv, and even a SAUNA!
