The house is a cozy 2 bedroom with queen beds and mountain decor. Recently renovated and the perfect place to relax. Very private area at the end of a dead-end road and a privacy fence which gives you just that, privacy (great for dogs too)! Enjoy beautiful mornings reading a book in our hammock on the front porch or take advantage of great star gazing next to a fire at night in the back yard. Plenty of natural light and all the amenities you need plus some!
Prime Location:
From the house there is a trail that allows walking/biking access to Pisgah Forest one direction and access to Breweries/Restaurants the other directions. It is a 5 minute drive to downtown Brevard, 15-minute drive to Dupont Forest, and a 1-2 minute drive to the entrance of Pisgah National Forest (or walk there within 10 mins via Greenway). Cozy place for a family or group looking to explore Brevard or the forest. Great for bikers!
We have 4 locations that are walkable from the house for Food. The Pisgah Bake House, Corkys, Ecusta Brewery/Gordingos, and Oscar Blues Brewery. Oscar Blues is a little longer walk than the others and the first 3 are with 3 mins of the house.
Amenities:
We are a dog friendly space (extra cost past 1 dog - $20 per night) with a wonderful fenced in backyard, firepit perfect for enjoying nights (and making s'mores), and an open-air garage with ping pong, oversized jenga, overhead lighting for late night play, and a grill. Being the last house at the end of a dead end road, backing up to woods and a creek, you get a sense of privacy being nestled into the woods but yet so close to town.
Note: There is no direct entrance from the inside of the house into the backyard, you simply walk out of the side door and the gate into the backyard is located right outside the back door.
