Forest Access - Hike/Bike Paradise - 5 min to Brevard - Walkable to Restaurants

The house is a cozy 2 bedroom with queen beds and mountain decor. Recently renovated and the perfect place to relax. Very private area at the end of a dead-end road and a privacy fence which gives you just that, privacy (great for dogs too)! Enjoy beautiful mornings reading a book in our hammock on the front porch or take advantage of great star gazing next to a fire at night in the back yard. Plenty of natural light and all the amenities you need plus some!

Prime Location:
From the house there is a trail that allows walking/biking access to Pisgah Forest one direction and access to Breweries/Restaurants the other directions. It is a 5 minute drive to downtown Brevard, 15-minute drive to Dupont Forest, and a 1-2 minute drive to the entrance of Pisgah National Forest (or walk there within 10 mins via Greenway). Cozy place for a family or group looking to explore Brevard or the forest. Great for bikers!

We have 4 locations that are walkable from the house for Food. The Pisgah Bake House, Corkys, Ecusta Brewery/Gordingos, and Oscar Blues Brewery. Oscar Blues is a little longer walk than the others and the first 3 are with 3 mins of the house.

Amenities:
We are a dog friendly space (extra cost past 1 dog - $20 per night) with a wonderful fenced in backyard, firepit perfect for enjoying nights (and making s'mores), and an open-air garage with ping pong, oversized jenga, overhead lighting for late night play, and a grill. Being the last house at the end of a dead end road, backing up to woods and a creek, you get a sense of privacy being nestled into the woods but yet so close to town.

Note: There is no direct entrance from the inside of the house into the backyard, you simply walk out of the side door and the gate into the backyard is located right outside the back door.

Wonderful retreat, fabulous communication

My sister and I booked a weekend together here in Brevard, and then we nearly backed out because of the Table Mtn Fire. The owner was super responsive and helped us make our decision to come (and was patient as we dithered). We LOVED the house and its location a short drive to town and walking distance to a fabulous brewery, a delicious pizza/coffee shop/bake house, and a hot dog shop we didn’t try. Such a wonderful stay!

Great location

The property was perfectly located for a visit to the Pisgah Forest and Brevard. This was a VERY last minute planned trip that replaced a cruise that we had to cancel due to a death in the family. We had no idea that the area was surrounded by wildfires. We’d chosen this place due to its location in relation to Pretty Place Chapel. Unfortunately that whole area was closed due to the fires. The property itself was great and it was a great location for visiting those places. I do wish we had been warned of the fires so close when we booked (3 days before arrival). I did have to reach out to ask for information and links on how to get fire evacuation notices after other locals were evacuated (near Brevard). Owners were always very prompt to respond. And this is a perfect place if you have pets. Do beware that there is a neighboring dog allowed to run loose. It didn’t approach us but it’s worth noting if you have dogs that may charge it. We just made sure it wasn’t put loose when we’d take ours out. Beautiful place and I’d stay again.

Getaway with daughter.

We brought our daughter up to Brevard from Greenville, SC for a couple of nights away. Our daughter’s dog loved the backyard space and was able to run around and play ball. The property was perfectly located on the north side of town so it made it easy getting to downtown for shopping and dining. Also it’s right next to the entrance for Pisgah National Forest with plenty of options for outdoor activities. Very short drive up to Looking Glass Falls which were absolutely beautiful.

Nice place.

Birthday trip

Beds were comfortable and bedroom had room darkening drapes which made sleeping in very easy. Good restaurants near by. Only suggestion would be to add a railing to the steps and porch. We are seniors and like to hold on to keep from falling. We would definitely go back.

Awesome mountain house

We absolutely loved our stay. The dogs had a wonderful space to run around, we enjoyed sitting by the fire pit with friends, the house was well stocked for cooking dinner. Comfy beds, clean place, close to sliding rock as well as other amenities in town. Easy to get in and out of the driveway. Awesome weekend. Will definitely be back. ❤️

Perfect property

Our stay was perfect for our needs. My husband, 9 year old and dogs were comfortable and had everything we needed. The screened porch was a great place to sit and read my daughter spent lots of time in the hammock. The dogs loved the huge backyard. We even played some ping pong. The location is close to Pisgah National Forest and Downtown. It was a bonus having the Pisgah Bakehouse at the end of the street. The house was very clean and nicely decorated.

Great location

Perfect for our needs, parked there car and enjoyed a great 3 day weekend of bicycling and breweries, never had to drive .Fantastic back yard with fire pit and some competitive ping pong. Very clean and private.

Weekend getaway

Good little house near Brevard

The house met our needs and was conveniently located near downtown Brevard. We brought dogs and the huge fenced in backyard was great. The only downside was the shower and bathroom did not appear to be cleaned and the fridge/freezer was full of partially used food items (e.g. half eaten carton of ice cream, half full bag of French fries, etc). Seems like this stuff should have been thrown away.

Wonderful location for Pisgah National Forest

Very convenient location if wanting to explore Pisgah National Forest. Great yard if you bring dogs. Very comfortable home. My friend and I had a lovely stay.

Perfect base camp.

Husband and I spent the week biking and hiking in Pisgah with our dog. The house is in an ideal spot for base camp. We had coffee on the porch in the mornings and the evenings were cozy. Thanks all!

Great spot for access to Pisgah

The yard was huge and our pup loved it. The house is cute and has everything you need. The Brevard greenway is just across from the end of the street. So close! Easy bike ride to the forest or Oskar Blues.

Great Property in Excellent Location

This is a great house with a wonderful backyard especially for dogs. Super asy access to the Brevard walking trail as well as Pisgah and Dupont. Hosts were wonderful to work with and we will be returning as soon as we can.

Great quick brevard getaway

We came up for a short stay- tools some beautiful hikes, dog enjoyed the fenced yard and the hikes, and did some star gazing. Location was convenient and house was just as described and had everything we needed. Thanks!

We got this property because of its location to the forest, yet still close to town. You can easily walk to the forest entrance within 10 minutes, which helps beat all the traffic. We also enjoy all the restaurants that are close, but without having to be in town.

この宿泊施設の特徴

From the house, you can easily walk directly into Pisgah National Forest, which makes it perfect for anyone wanting to go on a short walk or bike ride and want to get into the forest without having to drive! Perfect for those early morning walks or late afternoon rides after a full day of activities in the surrounding forest. If you are really feeling adventurous, you can ride on bikes all the way to town on the Bike path and enjoy the scenery, but this is a little longer than the ride into the forest (about 20-30 min ride to town).

We also now have access to some great restaurants that are in walking distance.
We have 4 locations that are walkable from the house for Food. The Pisgah Bake House, Corkys, Ecusta Brewery/Gordingos, and Oscar Blues Brewery. Oscar Blues is a little longer walk than the others and the first 3 are with 3 mins of the house.

Since we are so close, it's also a short drive to a lot of the great spots in Pisgah Forest and you can easily ride to town or Dupont within a few minutes.
