At Iris Acres, you can immerse yourself in authentic Australian farm life while enjoying the comforts of a modern farmhouse. Only 2.5 hours away from Sydney, it’s a perfect weekend destination for friends and families to relax, refresh, and rejuvenate. The space : Iris Acres has a land size of 42 acres (over 17,1500 sqm) and a floor size of 303 sqm with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.



The entire house is designed in a U shape. The centre of the house features with a gorgeous open kitchen and dining area that can accommodate 8~10 people sharing a meal.

On the right wing, the lounge room is featured with a sandstone fireplace. This is an entertainment area for friends and families to entertain each other with traditional board games instead of mobile phones or tablets. There is a very large TV room opposite to the lounge room.



There are 4 bed rooms and 2 bathrooms on the Left Wing. Here are the room and bed configurations: 1 Queen - x2 people 1 King - x2 people with Ensuite Bathroom 1 King - x2 people 1 Single + 1 Double + 1 Pull-out Mattress - 4 kids. At the end of the Left Wing, there is a Ping Pong table and a pool table in the garage. Why not have a friendly competition among your group?

At the back of the house, there is a very spacious outdoor area with outdoor dinner table and couch set. There are plenty of things to see and do. The nearby attractions are:- Jenolan caves- Wolgan valley- Japanese spa- Portland town- Glow worm tunnel in Newnes Plateau- Oberon- Blue Mountains: Megalong Valley, Three Sisters, Botanic Garden in Mt. Tomah. Guest access The whole house is for you to enjoy. Other things to note: Please note that firewood is only supplied to guests from June to August. If you are staying outside of these months, please bring your own firewood with you. If you are considering to bring your pet, please seek permission from us. Given Iris Acres is a farm, we need to understand what kind of pet you have. Small or medium size pets are welcome. Please do not allow your pets climb on any furniture. Please bring their bowls and beddings. There will be a $100 fee for each pet per stay.Yes, we warmly welcome pets, and our accommodation allows for a maximum of 2 pets . In winter, we have a fireplace and an air-conditioner that can generate enough heat for the living room and kitchen area. There are heaters in the bed rooms. In summer, we have split air-conditioning system in the lounge and there are ceiling fans in our bedrooms.
