The Space:

Mural Suite is a stylish 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment in the vibrant heart of Santurce, Puerto Rico. Perfect for families, friends, or business travelers, this modern retreat combines comfort and luxury with all the amenities needed for a memorable stay. Enjoy Santurce’s art, live music, and diverse culinary scene, all within walking distance or a short ride away. The Condado Lagoon is approximately a 10-minute walk away, and the beach is a short ride away.

BACKUP WATER CISTERN



IF THERE IS A TEMPORARY WATER OUTAGE, THE HOME IS EQUIPPED WITH A BACKUP CISTERN THAT PROVIDES WATER TO THE ENTIRE APARTMENT. THIS ALLOWS GUESTS TO CONTINUE USING THE BATHROOMS, KITCHEN, AND OTHER WATER FIXTURES AS NEEDED.



ADDITIONAL NOTES ⚠️



NO ELEVATOR 🏢



This building does not have an elevator. Access to all floors is by stairs only. The unit is on the 2nd floor and requires approximately 14 steps. Guests with mobility concerns should plan accordingly.



NO PARKING 🚗



There are no 24-hour parking garages nearby, and street parking is limited. We do not recommend renting a car — Uber or local rideshares are the easiest way to get around. Please reach out if you have questions before booking.



LIVING AREAS 🛋️



Relax in the bright, spacious living area with comfortable seating and a large TV. The living area flows into the dining space, creating a comfortable spot for socializing and spending time together.



SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS 🛏️



Mural Suite features three bedrooms with queen beds, blackout curtains, and flat-screen TVs. Two full bathrooms are conveniently located in the hallway for easy access from the living room and bedrooms.



PACK N' PLAY 👶 (upon request)



A complimentary Pack and Play can be provided if requested at the time of booking or no later than 5 days before arrival. Subject to availability.



KITCHEN 🍳



The modern kitchen features stone countertops, white upper cabinets, and light wood lower cabinetry. It includes:



* A full-size stainless steel refrigerator, microwave, 4-burner stovetop, toaster, and coffee maker

* Cooking pots, pans, and utensils

* A spacious stone island with seating for 3 guests



SHARED LAUNDRY ACCESS 🧺



The apartment has access to a washer and dryer located just outside the unit in the hallway. The machines are shared with one other apartment and are free to use during your stay.



GETTING AROUND 🚗



We recommend using Uber when staying within the San Juan/Metro area. If you rent a car to explore the island, please remember that this property DOES NOT have parking.



LOCATION 📍



Mural Suite is located in vibrant Santurce, within walking distance of restaurants, shops, art galleries, and entertainment. The Condado Lagoon is approximately a 10-minute walk away, and the beach is a short ride away. The airport is approximately 10 minutes away, with restaurants, parks, supermarkets, pharmacies, and shops nearby.



La Placita, one of San Juan’s most popular dining and nightlife areas, is also nearby. Enjoy local art, live music, Puerto Rican cuisine, and modern fusion restaurants throughout the area.



THINGS TO DO



Enjoy a beach day at Ocean Park, Isla Verde, Condado Beach, or Escambrón Beach. The apartment has beach chairs, towels, and coolers for your convenience.



Explore Santurce’s vibrant street art, colorful murals, galleries, and local arts scene.



Visit the Condado Lagoon, approximately a 5-minute walk away, for paddleboarding or a walk/jog around the lagoon.



Explore Miramar for restaurants and shopping, or visit the Puerto Rico Convention Center.



Enjoy La Placita de Santurce, with 20+ restaurants and lively nightlife.



Visit Fine Arts Cinema, approximately a two-minute drive away.



Explore El Yunque Rainforest, approximately 40 minutes from the property.



Spend a day in Old San Juan, approximately a 10-minute drive away, with historic sites, restaurants, shopping, and nightlife.

STARTER AMENITIES



At West Indies Vacation Rentals, we strive to provide top-notch amenities, ensuring our guests feel at home during their stay.



All properties come with freshly laundered bed linens and towels. We provide 2 bath towels per guest and 1 beach towel per guest.



We provide a set of disposable essentials to help you get your vacation started comfortably. These include:



- 1 set of hotel-size soap and shampoo (per bathroom)

- 3 garbage bags

- 1 roll of paper towels

- 2 rolls of toilet paper (per bathroom)

- 1 dish soap

- 1 dish sponge

- A small amount of laundry detergent



Please note that we do not provide unlimited disposable amenities. It is the guest’s responsibility to review what is included in the property and stock any additional items needed for the duration of the stay.



Most properties also include at least 2 beach chairs and an ice cooler. You may reach out to us 5 days before arrival for confirmation.





HOUSE RULES



RENTAL AGREEMENT: All bookings require a signed Short-Term Rental Agreement, which will be sent upon confirmation of your reservation. Guests must upload a valid photo ID (no selfies) that matches the name on the credit card used for the booking. The agreement must be signed within 48 hours of booking or prior to entering the property, whichever comes first. Check-in instructions will not be provided until the agreement is completed.



NO SMOKING: Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property. A $500 smoking fee will be charged if this rule is violated.



NO PETS: While we are pet lovers, pets are not permitted at the property at any time. A $300 fine will be charged if this rule is violated, and guests may be asked to leave the property.



QUIET HOURS: Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Please be mindful of noise during these hours out of respect for nearby residents/neighbors.



UTILITIES (WATER & ELECTRICITY): In the event of an interruption to water or electrical service, the host is not responsible for hotel, alternate lodging, or transportation expenses. If service is interrupted for more than 3 hours, guests may cancel the reservation and request a refund for unused nights only. Nights already used are non-refundable.



MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY: The maximum occupancy is 6 adults/children at all times, including visitors.



OCCUPANCY ENFORCEMENT: Occupancy limits are strictly enforced. Exceeding the maximum occupancy may result in immediate cancellation of the reservation or removal from the property without refund.



TOWELS & LINENS: Towels and linens are provided for normal use only. Please do not use them for cleaning or allow them to be stained with food, grease, or other substances. Charges may apply for damaged or stained items.



TOWEL HANGING: Please do not hang towels or any other items to dry in areas visible from outside the unit. A $100 community fine may apply if this rule is violated.



SUBLETTING: Subletting or re-renting the property is not permitted.





CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT TIMES



Check-in begins at 4:00 PM, and since this is a self-check-in unit, you can arrive anytime after that.



If you’d like to check in earlier, please contact us the day before your arrival, and we’ll confirm availability. When possible, early check-in typically starts around 11:00 AM. Please note that early check-in is subject to availability and depends on our cleaning schedule.



If you need a guaranteed early check-in, you will need to book from the night prior to ensure the property is ready upon your arrival.



Check-out time is at 11:00 AM. For late check-out requests, please reach out the day before your departure, and we’ll be happy to check availability for you.





TRAVEL INSURANCE / HURRICANE SEASON



We strongly recommend that all guests purchase travel insurance, not only during the peak months of Hurricane Season (July to October) but also throughout the year to cover unexpected events such as travel delays, pandemics, or other unforeseen issues.



Travel insurance is inexpensive and can reimburse travelers for most expenses associated with canceling travel outside of the cancellation window; however, coverage will depend on the policy purchased. Make sure to review and understand the options before purchase.
