Inside Gated Community

Spacious, newly remodeled Villa located in the prestigious Punta Las Marias gated neighborhood. Inside you will find a sun deck, ideal for tanning, bar area and pool; these in combination with the large terrace, will make your stay at Villa Doncella unforgettable. The upstairs has four bedrooms and three bathrooms (two of the bathrooms are en-suite). The master bedroom has a king-sized bed, walk-in closet, and whirlpool bathtub. There is a fifth bedroom, with a queen size bed, located on the first floor. In recent years, a small semi-private beach has formed at the end of the neighborhood; when the tide is low, it is a great place to visit and relax.

The house was very clean and well appointed. It basically had everything that we needed during our stay and the pool was lovely. The backyard was very private and it felt like an oasis in the city. At the end of the block, you could walk to the ocean and there were grocery stores, restaurants, shops, etc. in the immediate vicinity. The one issue we had was with the showers. All of the plumbing needed to be fixed, the master bath shower did not turn on at all, while the second and third bathrooms had just a bit more than a trickle coming out of the shower head. If the owner got the plumbing fixed, I would definitely stay here again.

Great Time

Our family and friends had good time. Kids had great time in the pool and it’s accessible for all the restaurants, beaches and historical place in driving distance.

Great home. Plenty of space. Nice pool. The true testament of a VRBO is if you would stay there again. I certainly would. Host was communicative. We really enjoyed our stay.

Over all great stay

Over all a good stay. Host was very easy going and got back with a reply quickly. The house gate was a little wacky. As you will see in other reviews but nothing major.

Great property came with 10 people. Felt very safe, plenty of room, and Jorge was great replacing the tv pretty quickly when it wasn't working. locations close to everything. Overall, everyone had a great weekend.

Beautiful property

We loved the house, Very spacious, We were able to walk and eat near the house. Gas station around the corner to buy any necessities and the home was absolutely stunning. We didn't have any issues with Noice like previously mentioned. Cool place overall.

Great Location

Great location. Located in walking distance of restaurants and a short uber ride to the beach and tourist locations. The tv by the pool had poor reception and the property could have provided more towels and wash cloths for our large party. I would stay here again.

Everything was great except the lock on the community gate is pretty old so trying to work the key is tricky sometimes. Other than the everything was great and the owner was able to provide a late check out which was much appreciated.

We had a wonderful time! Great neighborhood, felt safe! Only minor things to complain about. Bathtub drain plug didn’t work, and the gate key may need a new battery but all good!

Great Time

We had a great experience at this property! Jorge was very responsive and we were allowed an early check in which was so helpful. The home itself seemed bigger than the photos, and was very clean. The neighborhood itself was noisy at night, with a lot of dogs barking and patrons from the bar, but being in a gated community we felt very safe and never had any issues. The check out process could have been a little more detailed with the instructions, but overall I would recommend staying here and would book again.

Great location

This was a pretty good, centralized location. The house itself needed a little TLC. It was nice but somethings needed some work so it made the stay a little frustrating. The host was very kind and very quick to respond to us which was very helpful. Overall, it was a good stay.

Good location - walking distance to restaurants, beaches and grocery stores. Home was comfortable and space outside was great. Yes, there is a doggie day care next door and some noise from the street at night.

Perfect Family Home

We took our family and some friends to visit the beautiful island of Puerto Rico. The house and location were ideal for those looking to have a central location to many amenities, beaches, and shops. Jorge, the host, was very attentive and provided great communication. Everything about this stay was beyond what we had expected. We’ll would definitely stay here again.

Great house - very loud in middle of night.

The house was great and the pool was very relaxing. But the constant loud motorcycle noise and music at 12 PM every single night was horrible. If you don’t mind, loud blaring noise in the middle of the night, this is a place to stay.

Amazing

The house was just right for the 5 couples & to me it was even better in person as the pictures made it seemed smaller than it actually is. The neighborhood was nice. Location of the house made easy to access Uber right outside the gate. House manager Jorge is quick to respond & allowed us to check in early since the house was ready.

Great villa in a great location

Wonderful villa! The property is in a very safe part of San Juan and is next to some wonderful restaurants. The lockbox can be tricky to find but the host was wonderful helping us out! The hot water can also be tricky, just barley turn the water on to trigger it. Otherwise, its the best place. We will definitely be back!

Very attentive

I would recommend this property for anyone traveling to Puerto Rico. The house is spacious and has a wonderful backyard. The host is extremely attentive and is very responsive. We stayed in this property when there was a power outage that affected the entire island on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. Luckily, the property has a generator. The host went above and beyond to make sure to have the gas company come refill the tank late on New Year’s Eve. Thanks to his efforts, our stay was not affected at all. Highly recommend!

Beautiful home

This property was beautiful and as described. I loved that it was inside a secluded gated community. It is close to the street so you do hear a lot of traffic especially at night, however it was something we got used to within a couple of days. Property manager was responsive each time I texted. Air Conditioning units kept the house cool at all times! I would recommend staying here to anyone who asked.

Love this property!

This is my second time staying here and I will be booking for next year God willing. The manager Jorge is super accommodating and accessible. Dealing with him is always a pleasure. My team enjoyed their accommodations and the space in the house. The beds are super comfortable and I could barely get up. You will not be disappointed. The area is mostly quiet safe. It's inconvenient to the airport and other places of interests in san juan.
