Great stay. The hot tub was amazing for stargazing at night with clear skies and a quiet setting that made it easy to relax. The location was a big plus, very close to local attractions and easy to get around without long drives. The home was very well appointed and clearly well cared for. Everything was clean, organized, and comfortable, which made settling in simple. The only thing missing was a hairdryer, which was a minor detail and did not affect the overall experience. We would definitely rent this property again.

Wonderful stay! All spaces, inside and outside, were comfortable, pleasant, “livable”. Kitchen was well equipped; lots of games & puzzles; nice book selection; well appointed/decorated. Outside, pool was lovely, with plenty of lounge options; fire pit; cornhole; nice landscaping & beautiful views.Ruth, our point of contact, was very helpful, answering a few questions we had, both before and during, in a timely manner. No negatives to report. We noted several comments/concerns regarding entry, and I will say the lock gave me some problems, but the rest of the family seemed to have minimal issues.Bottom line, we’d be quite happy to return.

Dark sky’s

The house is a bit dated but well maintained and comfortable and clean. We stayed for 8 nights and particularly enjoyed the hot tub and dark skies at night.

Amazing stay!

We absolutely loved staying here! Listing was even better than described. Very spacious house. Kitchen fully stocked. Sitting in the hot tub at night after a long day of hiking watching the stars was unbelievable. Would love to come back when the weather is warmer to make more use of the yard and pool.

Fun getaway in a great lication

Despite a few hiccups with the keyless entry to the property, some cleanliness issues, and inconsistencies/miscommunication between VRBO and the property management company, we had a very enjoyable stay. Issues were addressed quickly, house was well equipped, and very comfortable. Location was great and we really enjoyed the backyard space.

Very nice property. Kitchen was well appointed with items for cooking. Home decor was very nice. The backyard was very large and pool was great. I would have liked the pool lights and a bit more outside lighting to work. The front door keypad did not work. When I called Ruth she answered promptly and a solution was provided. Overall a great stay.

Get the lockbox code before you head to Borrego Springs. The deadbolt keypad didn't work. Luckily one door was unlocked, otherwise we should have been waiting for awhile to get in. They do have a key in a lockbox, but that code wasn't supplied at check in. Other than that, we absolutely loved our stay. The house is dated, but everything is in great working order. Everything was super clean, a ton of kitchen supplies were provided. The yard was amazing. Watching the stars from the hot tub was a top highlight of the trip. The pool was great , but it was too cold for us to swim in February since only the hot tub is heated. I would definitely stay here again.

Casa DeAnza

We loved our stay at Casa DeAnza. Beautiful home with gorgeous views. So peaceful. The pool and hot tub were delightful and we enjoyed sitting by the firepit at night. Stargazing was incredible. The kitchen was very well equipped, even had a blender. Bedroom was so comfortable and bathrooms were stocked with everything we needed, towels, hairdryer, toiletries. Our dog enjoyed his stay as much as we did. House, yard and surrounding neighborhood were all very dog friendly. So much fun. Perfect stay from start to finish. We are already planning our next trip. Thank you to the owners for sharing their wonderful home with us.

wonderful location for the desert and great hot tub!!

House and pool were very clean. We arrived at night and could not use the keypad to open the front door. We called Ruth who told us how to find keys in the backyard on the shed. Thankfully, she was home and could help us get in. It would have been a disaster if she was not home. It would have been good to have a light on at the front of the house. Bedrooms and bathrooms are fine, but the kitchen needs a lot of updating. Ruth was wonderful bringing us lightbulbs and a broom! She was really excellent. We had a great three weeks.

the place was filthy, cockroaches everywhere, cobwebs and dog hairs. The pool cannot be used, it was green and slimy. The air conditioner is basically nonexistent. and TV was broken upon arrival, tried contacting host several times the first two days to address said things, did not hear from her at all, she couldn’t be reached

Don’t buy the hype!

It was advertised as clean, sanitary, all rooms air conditioned, and beautiful clean pool. Was the complete opposite, house was dusty, cobwebs, food on the floor and carpets had hair, dirt, holes and there were dead squashed cockroaches in front of one of the doors. The third bedroom was unusable due to no air conditioning vents in this part. It smelled like the air conditioning filters had not been cleaned and the pool was covered in leaves and dirt on the bottom. We called the host and owner to see if they could fix the items that day, the host was not in town and couldn’t find anyone until the next day. The owner didn’t respond until a day later. We left as it was unhealthy, not clean and the heat was unbearable. Trying to get a refund, owner, Vacasa host and company are denying all issues even existed despite pictures I took and sent them. Don’t believe the hype!

What a gorgeous house! It was exactly as described in the listing. The kitchen was small, but fully stocked, the bedrooms were out of a magazine and very comfortable.
