Friends, families, pets (sorry no cats due to allergies), or just couples, relax and enjoy La Paz, a lovely adobe home in the Borrego Springs Valley, with 360 degree views, including an up-close view of Indian Head Mountain.
You will have day and night fun with our jacuzzi, Cowboy pool (when weather permits), and stargazing. Enjoy Corn Hole Game, wide screen TV, board games and puzzles. We are a 5 minute drive to park headquarters and Christmas circle (downtown). Bathroom accessibility features, and ramps on request.

Everything was as advertised...this location was perfect to be in a place that offers the comfort of both indoors and outdoors both during the day and at night...and quick access to all there is to see here.All the comforts of home and a view that would not quit in any direction. Made the short trip to Julian...on my Bucket List and well worth the effort!LOVED IT and we will be back.

Great place

We loved this property, it was spacious and accommodating, the cowboy pool was perfect for cooling off in on hot afternoons. The skies were incredibly dark for star gazing and the neighborhood was very quiet. This place had it all and we would definitely stay here again.

Peace and quiet

If you love open space, silence, sunsets, stars, and coyotes, this is the place you want to rent. Paul, the owner, is fantastic.

Beautiful desert home

We really enjoyed staying at La Paz! The house was beautiful with a beautiful view of the mountains. Needless to say, it was hot during the middle of the day (107) but it was comfortable in the house and we could hang out in the cowboy pool which has an umbrella you could position to block the sun! There was an interesting art installation all over Borrego Springs which was a unique experience. We were particularly interested in looking at the night sky which did not disappoint. Our only disappointment was that we could never figure out exactly how to use the telescope--I'm sure it was an operator problem. This place really exceeded our expectations! wcould

The overall quality of this booking was excellent. The property was clean, there were plenty of amenities available, and the decor was great. I would stay here again, no questions asked.

Sun and Stars

We had a wonderful relaxing weekend at the La Paz house. The house has all the needed amenities and was very clean. We spent our time hiking in the early morning, enjoying the sun and cooling off in the cowboy pool in the afternoon, then dinner and stargazing in the evening. The backyard area is fully fenced which is just what we needed to relax with our pup. Paul was a great host. We will return.

Step away from it all...

We had a lovely visit to Borrego in this comfortable home away from home. Our family reunion was a success with more than enough room to spread out for games, bbq dinners, socializing on the back patio, enjoying the cowboy pool (awesome way to cool off on those hot days!) and amazing stargazing! The well stocked kitchen was a plus for the cooks in our group, and the games and occasional movies kept the littler ones equally entertained. Our host, Paul, was super accessible for any needs, (although we truly didn’t have any!) And check-in process could not have been easier. Very pleased overall with our desert oasis! Will not hesitate to book on our next Borrego Springs adventure!!

La Paz Desert Adobe

The La Paz Adobe home was definitely peaceful, quiet and relaxing. Close to some great trails in Anza Borrego State Park, as well as stores and restaurants in Borrego Springs. The kitchen is well equipped with high quality cookware and utensils. The hot tub and pool were great. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home. Would definitely love to stay here again!

Large home , all the things we needed. Quiet area, great views all around. Family of 4 -hot tub nice and dip pool would have been used if warmer. Horseshoe pit was fun!

Beautiful comfortable property. We came for the Geminid meteor shower and saw over 40 in a little over an hr. Really set up great for outdoor activities. We will be back!!

Quiet Desert Oasis Get Away

Plenty of room to spread out. The southwestern decor was so thoughtfully done and adds to the desert ambiance. We found everything we needed in the kitchen and throughout the home to accommodate all of our needs. It feels like hanging out at a good friends place….so clean and comfortable.

Lovely Borrego Springs House

We were 2 couples, stayed here 6 nights. The house is wonderful--quiet, large, nicely appointed. Our host, Paul, was very easy to communicate with. The property around the house is very private, with a terrific outdoor area front and back. We enjoyed sitting out at the cooler times of the day enjoying the quiet and watching the birds. The house was better equipped than any vacation home we've ever stayed in--everything we needed to cook meals in and lots of necessities like plenty of paper towels, spices, olive oil, even coffee and snack bars. This provided us with exactly the vacation we had hoped for!

Lovely indoor/outdoor space

We stayed for 10 days during which time family and friends visited. This home provided us with views front and back, plenty of comfort and room and everything we needed to gather, cook, converse. It is better than advertised and Paul, the host, is beyond gracious.
