New to the rental market for 2026, this condo has homeowners who care more for ensuring the ongoing quality of the home than for renting as much as possible. The result is a better experience for guests who choose this condo. One of the best aspects of this condo is that you are just a short free bus ride or walk from the base of the ski slopes. After a day of adventure you can unwind in the hot tubs, or relax in your private space designed for comfort and easy living. This home is an ideal base for year round mountain escapes. The Property:
Inside, the condo offers a warm and inviting layout designed for both relaxation and comfort.
The spacious living room includes a cozy fireplace, a large TV, and a comfortable leather sofa, creating the perfect space to unwind after a day on the mountain. Step out onto the private balcony to enjoy fresh alpine air, or whip up some tasty treats in the beautifully appointed, fully equipped kitchen, which features stainless steel appliances and a striking mosaic backsplash. A dining table with seating for four completes the space while also providing a spot for cards, games, or your laptop.
Both bedrooms are well appointed, and both bedrooms have a Queen size bed, making this condo ideal for two couples or small families. The first bedroom is a suite, with a walk through closet and the added convenience of a private ensuite bathroom, which includes a new vanity and shower. The second bedroom is quite nice as well, with its own dedicated bathroom right across the hall. This second bathroom is also nicely updated but includes a bathtub as well as a shower. With a comfortable and relaxed style and decor throughout, the space provides a peaceful retreat at the end of each day in the mountains.
Location:
This development, and this condo's location within the development, make it easy to get to and from the ski slopes, as well as around town. The development sits at the corner of Walton Creek Road and Whistler Road, where the free city bus picks up about every 10 minutes in ski season, and about every 20 minutes for the rest of the year. Within the development, this particular condo has an enviable location. It is actually closer to the intersection of Walton Creek Road and Village Drive, which means that walking to Gondola Square is actually pretty doable, especially if you're renting your skis with free overnight storage in Gondola Square! Just head to the right from the parking lot, slightly uphill for about 50 yards, and then you have a nice flat sidewalk leading directly to Gondola Square. Another option is to walk across the street from the bus stop, and follow the paved path along Burgess Creek right to the Gondola.
Getting anywhere in town is easy, no car needed. Summer guests will enjoy Gondola Square just as much as winter visitors, as the base area comes alive with activities, events, shows, concerts, and festivals. With Burgess Creek flowing through the village, the summer atmosphere is vibrant and inviting, and without snow underfoot, walking is even easier than during ski season. The development is also just up the street from the Yampa River, offering direct access to the Burgess Creek Trail and the Yampa River Core Trail. From here, guests can stroll, run, skate or bike along the river corridor all the way into downtown Steamboat and beyond.
Arrival, Accessibility, Layout and Parking:

– Accessing the property: This unit is located on the third floor and is accessible by stairs only (no elevator).
– Parking: Parking is available for 2 vehicles max. All parking is on a first come, first serve basis. You may park in any open spot. RV's, trailers, etc. are not permitted.
– 4WD vehicle information: The roads in the area which lead to and from this property are generally easy to navigate and well maintained. When traveling during snow and winter weather conditions, 4 Wheel Drive or All Wheel Drive and tires with good tread are recommended.

** Group Sizes, High Occupancy Fees, & Maximum Occupancy - Some properties use a “High Occupancy Fee” to “raise the rate” for larger groups, and are thus able to list a lower nightly rate for smaller groups. Each rental agreement and associated rates are for a specific group size. Guests must enter the correct and maximum group size at the time of booking. The agreement requires a guest to confirm the group size and subsequently, to disclose any changes to the planned group size, which may result in an increase, or decrease, to the total cost, and may result in a security deposit becoming required
** Video & Noise Monitoring - Please note that noise monitoring devices, and security cameras, do exist on the exterior of the property.
