We felt completely at home in this beautiful property - it was so clean and comfortable (particularly extremely comfortable beds), and every little detail had been thought off with some milk and treats in the fridge, and even marshmallows for the fire-pit!For future trips to Castlemaine, this is the first place we'd book.

Had a wonderful stay. It was an excellent location (though we did have a bit of trouble finding it!) Birds, frogs, & crickets provided a beautiful soundtrack & rabbits welcomed us home. The communication with the host was clear & friendly.The place was spotless & there was air conditioning in every room. And the internet was very reliable.Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful little place to stay. The host communicated perfectly and doubled checked to make sure we received check in details. Very brand new, clean and comfortable. Air conditioning worked amazingly in 40 heat. Perfect for what we needed.

The accommodation is fairly basic but fine and comfortable. However, one of the bedside table lamps didn't work, the sofa only sits two people and there are only two stools for the dining table, even though the accomodation can sleep up to four people. The lighting in the living area is extremely bright - a floor lamp with a softer light globe would be a good option to provide. It is a difficult property to find even with the instructions provided, particularly if arriving at night as there is very little street lighting. It would be very useful if there was a sign to the property at the start of the rear laneway that it is on, and directly outside the property so you know you have arrived. The instructions say the rear laneway is "adjacent" to the VIC SES Castlemaine unit, whereas in fact it is OPPOSITE it. It goes on to say the property is approx 325 metres up the laneway but it is quite a bit further than that.
