Welcome to Flatwater Cove — our newly built, family-owned and loved cottage on Percy Lake in Haliburton.

Nestled lakeside in the heart of the Canadian wilderness, our 6-bedroom retreat blends comfort and serenity with a hot tub, fire pit, chef's kitchen, three fireplaces and more. Enjoy the water with a gorgeous private dock, two kayaks, two paddle boards, and a canoe. Designed for year-round gatherings with loved ones, Flatwater Cove is the perfect place to relax, reconnect, and recharge.

The Space:

A 5,700 sq. ft. luxury retreat nestled on 2.5 acres of forested privacy, with 350 feet of lake frontage on the pristine Percy Lake.

No matter the season, this modern-meets-rustic escape offers the perfect blend of elevated amenities and tranquil natural beauty — ideal for family gatherings, group getaways, and memorable retreats. Flatwater Cove comfortably sleeps up to 12 guests, affording ample space and privacy for everyone.

Looking for a remote work getaway? Flatwater Cove has you covered, with several desk spaces, two monitors, and high-speed Starlink Wi-Fi.

Some Highlights:

- Private, peaceful surroundings.

- Gourmet kitchen with a 10-ft island, large fridge + freezer, two microwaves, gas stove, oven and steam oven, separate wine & beverage fridges, and a coffee/tea bar with both drip and Nespresso Vertuo coffee makers.

- Hot tub (5-6 person) — available all seasons.

- Screened-in porch ("Haliburton Room"), a fan favourite in warm and cool weather, with a wood-burning fireplace for full coziness.

- Home gym with a Peloton bike, NordicTrack treadmill, free weights up to 30lbs, exercise ball and yoga mats.

- Large walk-out basement, with an over-sized couch, 75" Smart TV, bumper pool / poker table, wood-burning fireplace and record player.

- Three fireplaces in total (two wood-burning, one gas).

- A fire pit, a large deck with ample seating, and a BBQ for nights under the stars.

- 1 canoe, 2 kayaks & 2 paddleboards.

- An expansive dock (with water 8-10 ft deep at the end), perfect for swimming, fishing, or tranquil morning yoga.

PLEASE NOTE:

- There are 80 stone steps down to the water, each step being approximately 5” high.

- There is limited cell service (We use Wi-Fi Calling!)

- All-Wheel-Drive and Winter tires are strongly recommended from snow fall to full thaw, typically November through to April.

- The speed boat shown in the photos is not available for guest use. For boat rentals, we recommend contacting Fort Irwin Marina, which offers a variety of options. The dock at the property can accommodate boats up to 22 feet in length. Boat Launch located nearby.

- The lake is part of the Trent-Severn water system and the levels fluctuate seasonally. The floating dock is removed late September/early October for Winter, and reinstalled in May.

- Some Nespresso Vertuo pods will be provided, but you may wish to bring additional.

- We have some wood for the fireplace and fire pit, but if you plan to burn lots of wood, please bring some. Firewood is also available at the Fort Irwin Marina.

- We have a few adult life jackets, however, they may not fit all sizes, so you may wish to bring additional to ensure fit (especially for your little ones).

- There is no local garbage collection. $150 of the cleaning fee is to cover delivering the garbage & recycling to the waste facility. If you take your garbage/recycling or drop it off at the waste facility, we will refund you $150!
