We loved everything about this property. It was ready early for check-in, it was immaculately clean. The host was very communicative. The place was exactly as advertised. It was decorated so cute for fall and Halloween. The location can’t be beat- it was so close to walk to downtown Saugatuck. We would absolutely stay here again!

The property was beautiful and exactly as presented. It was a short walk to downtown and only a block away from The Southerner - a fabulous restaurant we thoroughly enjoyed. We had a fantastic weekend and hope to come back again! Highly recommend!

Exceeded expectations! The apartment was perfectly clean, very spacious, and filled with special touches that made for a very comfortable stay. Conveniently located near downtown Saugatuck. We look forward to staying here again.

The property was exactly as pictured! Very clean, updated & beachy! Dawn had everything there that we needed, even items for the beach, as we used the beach chairs which was really nice!! There were also a lot of brochures with information about the area which we appreciated!! Beautiful property inside & out!!

Great location and great place

We didn’t check in until after 8 pm after a long day of shopping so didn’t use the kitchen facilities but everything we would have needed is available. It is a lovely place and close to shopping. Only issue was upstairs guests must of had children and we could hear the running back and forth. By 10 pm it was quiet so they were respectful of lower tenants. Highly recommend staying at this location.

Second stay at this property

We enjoyed our stay at this property so much in 2024 that we decided to come back in 2025. The property was immaculate and very well furnished. The host thoughtfully included a lot of beach toys, a cooler, and plenty of beach towels. We enjoyed the walking proximity to downtown and to a nearby nature preserve. The bathroom was redone since our last visit and is beautiful. Beautiful hikes overlooking and having access to Lake Michigan are just a few minutes away by car.

We just loved our stay! The cottage was immaculate, so many amenities, walking distance to everything! We will definitely be back and recommend to family and friends.

Fabulous Birthday Celebration!

What a wonderful stay we had at the Chickadee!!! Clean and very well appointed, great amenities and so comfortable!!! My dearest and beat college friend and I were celebrating retirement and a significant birthday and this was a perfect spot to do both! In addition to the lovely accommodations the front porch was a wonderful spot to have our morning coffee and evening libations! 5-10 minute walk to town. Just a super great experience all around! Highly recommend staying at this lovely place!!!

The space was clean, cool, and just as described. We were there on some of the hottest days of the summer and loved coming back to a cool and quiet space. The walk to the downtown business area is short and peaceful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to come back in the future.

The property is beautiful!! We had an amazing time and The Chickadee is everything and more. Not a detail was missed. Very clean and pictures are exact, no false promises. I will be staying again next year and look forward to spending my time in Saugatuck at the Chickadee. Dawn the owner is fabulous. The bathroom is spectacular-great shower!! Kudos to Dawn!!

Great couple night stop for family

Super clean and tidy apartment. Thoughtful small things like the beach towels, beach bag and toys were a great touch. The sofa bed worked well for our grade school age kids. Took us about 6-7 minute walk to the edge of the shops and restaurant area. The road does have a decent amount of traffic, but there are sidewalks the entire way into town. Road noise never bothered us in the apartment. We took the chain ferry across the river and hiked up the stairs to Mount Baldhead, great views and fun little hike.

Beautiful place, great location!

My sister and I stayed here for a weekend trip and had the best time! The property was absolutely beautiful and extremely clean and updated inside. Beautiful and bright all around. Super comfortable couch, beds, etc. and plenty of extra bedding! Perfect location and just a 5 minute walk to downtown Saugatuck. Would love to stay again :-) thank you!

Ideally located within walking distance to downtown Saugatuck. Very clean and comfortable. Probably the best equipped rental we've ever had. The one drawback was the road noise.
