Perfect Weekend

This is our second stay and we can’t say enough good things about this location. So clean and all the amenities you might need. It is walking distance to the water, shopping and food options and a short drive to Holland. We have a great weekend.

Lovely, convenient Saugatuck stay

This was my first time in Saugatuck, and the chickadee rental was the perfect location and place to stay. The unit has everything we needed, including a very comfortable bed and cozy living room. I always appreciate a kitchen when I travel to allow me to make some meals and go out for others. This unit is in walking distance of the downtown Saugatuck area, making it a very easy way to enjoy the town without fighting for parking. We could even walk down to the Southern, a really great place for a meal and an excellent cocktail. We will definitely be back!!

First time visit

It was our first visit to Saugatuck, this location made our visit wonderful. We were close to everything, and the property was great. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was Amazing. We would easily stay here again.

Thank you for a great stay!

Dawn was wonderful to work with! The rental provided everything we could have ever needed and the property was so nicely decorated and the beds were amazingly comfortable! We had a fabulous stay and the property while a little longer walk from town was an easy walk and did not take more than 10 minutes. We would definitely stay again!

Get away to Saugatuck

My husband and I stayed at the Chickadee for a short getaway to Saugatuck. The home was very clean and well kept. We loved that the location was a little bit out of town—but only a 10 minute or less walk to downtown . The owner was very responsive when we had a few questions. Will definitely recommend to others and hope to return sometime!

Wonderful Saugatuck!

Really great location. We walked downtown to shop. The Peterson Mill is nearby, plus we walked to a fantastic dinner at the Southerner. The condo was clean, comfortable, and well stocked. I would definitely stay here again.

Loved our stay here

The Chicadee Cottage where we stayed was adorable and comfortable. It was immaculately clean and had everything we needed and more to enjoy our stay. The property is located near downtown and there is parking onsite so you don't need to drive. Dawn and her husband were always available to answer our questions. We had a great stay and highly recommend this property.

Charming property in great location

We stayed in the lower floor of the house. It has been updated and is charming and comfortable. The host has thoughtfully supplied everything that one might need for those who will be going to the beach. The location is just a few minutes walk to the Peterson Mill and the Peterson Nature Preserve, which, although small, is well worth the time for nature lovers. We saw our first green heron! The house is about a 9 minute walk to the downtown shops and restaurants. Saugatuck is a beautiful area and the house provides a great central base for your explorations.

Great Property!

Dawn was excellent to work with! The Chickadee is a very clean property and about a 10 minute walk to the main downtown shopping district. We especially loved the common outdoor space shared between the rentals. Yes, you can hear the footsteps in the above unit but the renters above us were up and about when we were and quiet at bedtime. We spent most of our time in town or outside anyway so it didnt bother us at all. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Trip with adult nieces

Very nice place and super clean. Comfortable master bedroom. Well appointed kitchen and bathroom except for small shower. Terribly uncomfortable pull out sofa bed. So bad that i slept on the sofa cushions instead of the pull out bed. Also you can hear every step taken on the floor above you and voices. Not so good if it is 6 in the morning. My nieces really enjoyed sharing the king in the master bedroom, very comfortable. My stay was not comfortable, sleeping on the couch. i complained and they brought me a blow up bed. There is just no room to have the pull out or that ridiculous blow up bed considering the the cost of the stay very disappointing. This place would be fine for two.

Ideally located within walking distance to downtown Saugatuck. Very clean and comfortable. Probably the best equipped rental we've ever had. The one drawback was the road noise.
