The house is not set up to be guest friendly and is not well taken care of. Upon arrival there was an overpowering smell in the master bath due to an unflushed toilet and dead batteries in the controller so that we were not able to immediately resolved. Parking is sparse. The front door handle fell off, a handyman was sent, fell off again the same day, ultimately replaced. Overall the house was in a state of general disrepair and neglect. Multiple closets were locked including the pantry which made storing groceries for our 2 month stay difficult. The oven required a video tutorial, was very small, and had an overpowering gas smell making us too concerned to use it. Couch was low, stained, and uncomfortable but the beds were nice and appeared newer. All the master bedroom dressers had personal items and clothing of the owners making them unusable(no dressers in spare rooms)and the shower would on certain days be burning hot and other days lukewarm, same for the master bathroom faucets. Under the master bedroom bed there was a filthy dog bed that we had to move to the garage for smell reasons. A tripped breaker and a panel box that we could not open led to a call to the property manager that went unanswered. Overall this home is rundown and not traveler friendly. There were multiple light switches that did not work, were tapped over saying do not use and the fire alarms had been removed making the home not only rundown but unsafe.
