My husband and I celebrate 40 years together this fall and we wanted to spend time with all of our kids and grandkids. As a blended family, this is not always easy to achieve. It has been a decade since the last time all of us were together in one place!Our kids found the rental, and it easily held all 14 of us with an age range of 4 years (who loved the ducks!) to 71 years (who loved the mini-suite to decompress between activities). There was a generous variety of spaces and sizes of spaces for us to enjoy in different groupings, or all together. The books, games, kitchen supplies, and other resources gave us a sense of being home with family that enhanced the entire weekend.The house was clean and easy to keep that way, with clear labels and guidelines. There were more amenities than I could mention, and each one made the space useful and welcoming. The welcome binder was invaluable and gave simple instructions for the owner's expectations but also helpful tips, ideas for activities, and local references for food, etc. Parking was great! It was helpful to have enough spaces to park without being a burden on the neighborhood.If I could offer any ideas for improvement, they would be:Add electric vehicle charging station locations to the binderAdding some kind of non-slip mat or grit-surface as well as a grab bar in the 2 concrete floor showers. These were extremely slippery when wet.Otherwise, everything was beyond my greatest hope for a long, lovely weekend.
