We had such an amazing stay at Marazul, it was hard to leave! The condo had everything we needed for a delightful We were close to the dive shop, the national park, and had excellent snorkeling right outside our front door. We hope to be back someday. Greg was a great host and provided all the information and advice we could possibly need. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Great stay- loved the resort, the view, and the steps right into the ocean. Super close to several beautiful beaches and two national parks. Furniture / kitchen are dated and a little worn, but that wasn't a big deal to us. Host provided an excellent packet of info about the area that was super helpful. One thing folks should be aware of is that the dining options on this part of the island are a bit limited and you generally need to make reservations in advance everywhere.

Unit and resort are well maintained. Staff are very friendly. The location and views are astonishingly beautiful! Restaurants are very close by, the pool is nice, and the property allows direct diving in divine Caribbean waters.

Amazing views and spectacular access to snorkel and beaches. The property owner was extremely informative and responsive. Definitely recommend staying at this resort when visiting Westpunt area of Curacao!

Amazing Views

Had another great stay at the Marazul Dive Resort… would highly recommend Westpunt as a quiet vacation get away… Greg, the owner, was very responsive to all of our needs. Can’t wait to go back.

Definitely the right choice!

Fabulous view and amazing access to the water. Easy drive to many possibilities for shore dives or right in front of the property. Very clean, great Wi-Fi, comfortable bed. Nice pool area. We are already planning a return trip.

Marazul is a nicely groomed and maintained group of townhomes with sea views and 2 convenient sets of sturdy steps down the cliff wall to access the sea where there is decent snorkeling right on the wall. And several beautiful calm beaches within a few minutes drive . We found the unit to be well maintained with everything in working order with somewhat dated furniture, appliances and decor. Outside was very quiet with very few people around. In the trees and gardens the daily prikichi sightings were a treat for me.Sheets and towels were freshly laundered . Bed was comfy. Appreciated plenty hooks, plenty of clothes hangers and places to hang things and store things. The cooler was convenient for our daily beach excursions as a was our ability to make our own ice and bring our own drinks . The fridge and freezer was a good size and worked well. Did not use the beach chairs Discovered on our last day snorkels masks fins floaties, all of questionable condition , but available to rent for 5 unlimited time from the office , good to know for next time , one less thing to pack or purchase.

Lovely Marazul locale!!

A very nice location. Can’t beat those sunset views and we loved the ocean dips and snorkeling from the entry ladder. Mark and Susan were very informative about arrival, food options and activities. Many thanks!

Great place!

We really loved the quietness of this place! We had everything we could have needed. Wonderful snorkling right off the sides! We saw squids and turtles! Convenient to lots of beaches and the Cactus Cafe, yet far enough to leave the traffic congestion in the city!

Great stay

We had s fantastic view of the ocean and sunsets from our patio or balcony. The property is well equipped but the it would be nice if the TV was connected to some basic cable service. The wifi connection was very strong.

Location location location

Everything about this stay was amazing. The view of the ocean, vicinity to beaches, the west punt area itself. The unit was clean, stocked with kitchen utensils and dishes, comfortable and communication with the hosts was amazing. Be sure to print out the email they send you, it’s spot on. Thank you for an amazing vacation.

Breathtaking View

The view is absolutely amazing. The apartment had everything we needed and the location was perfect for our needs. We were only steps away from snorkeling, which was great. The pool was refreshing with beautiful landscaping. The community was welcoming with neighbors interacting frequently, and the iguanas were fun to watch. We had a wonderful stay.

Quiet home on the ocean

We loved this home and want to return. We are off the beaten path travelers. The location was perfect because it was away from the city with all the traffic. If you’re looking for nightlife, this is not the spot. We spent our days looking out into the vast ocean and horizon. Absolutely love the stairs to the tiny cliff jump into the Clearwaters. The home was very clean and had everything we needed. The hosts were kind and communicative if you’re looking for a quiet and relaxing and get away this is it.

Practically paradise

We were so happy with our stay! The condo was cute, clean and cooled off nicely with the air conditioner. It was an amazing setting. We enjoyed watching the sun set each night on the ocean. It was so quiet and peaceful. We really felt like we had the island to ourselves at times. We could walk down to the ocean in just a minute. Location was so nice. Close to great diving, swimming with the sea turtles, and delicious restaurants. We loved it!!!!

Marazul 7B

We loved the place. Perfect to walk out to the coral wall and look down at the fish, watch the birds, and hang with the iguanas. We made dinner there every night and the kitchen was perfectly equipped. For us, this is the point on the island to stay. There are plenty of little restaurants and things to explore and it is much quieter than Willemstad. It was great to enjoy a drink at cocktail hour under the gazebo or in the shade of the pool area. Exactly what we want in a vacation. We would happily return.

Beautiful spot

We enjoyed this condo very much. We spent the first half of our vacation in Westpunt before heading to Willemstad - it was a great idea. This complex is quiet, safe and the people are friendly. The manager was there to help us with anything we needed. The unit was great for a couple - lots of space to relax. It is stocked with everything you need. The bed was very comfy too! The location is close to some of the best beaches we visited. The pool was also very nice. We would definitely recommend this unit for anyone looking to spend some quiet time away from the busy city - it was perfect.

Great location on the west side

Nice property. Quiet. Secure. Villa perfectly located for sunsets, close to pool, quick parking, and access to water. Kitchen has everything you need. Be sure to shop for majority of things before heading west. There is a small market across and down from Jaanchies to get a few things, paper products, etc. Cindy has great info about the island she provides to guests.

Perfect location

Arriving in a tropical storm in darkness we had to wait to see the location till the following morning. It is post card beautiful. Loved the direct access to the sea, BBQ, security, pool, proximity to 3 restaurants and the most beautiful beaches on the island. Some have mentioned that the decor and some furniture is a bit dated. But all appliances and showers worked well. Greg is a an attentive and unobtrusive host. We thought it reasonable value and would recommend.

Thank you for the great review. The resort is situated in a great spot in Westpunt, Curacao near wonderful restaurants and breathtaking beaches. The unit is prefectly located on the front row with a wonderful view. We have started to replace the brown couch on multiple occassions but it has 2 things going for it. It's a sleeper sofa on the occassions children are part of the guests AND it's one of the most comfortable couches we have sat on. Sometimes functionallity wins out over looks. Thanks! Greg and Susan

What a gem!

We stayed here 5 nights and it was the perfect place for us! The location is close to all of the beaches in the area and there are several restaurants right around the corner, our favorite was Playa Forti. The condo is well equipped and stocked with all of the essentials you'll need while here. Like Cindy recommends, stop at a grocery store on your way in from Willemstad, there are none here. Centrum was a very large nice store that had everything you would need. We made a big breakfast every morning and ate out every night. Cindy, the owner, was very responsive and timely, very easy to work with. The condo is perfectly decorated for an island retreat and the bed was amazingly comfortable. We hope to be back next year!
