Nice cozy cottage. Not the Ritz Carlton, but perfect for a weekend getaway or a week-long vacation. The entire cottage is for you and your guests. Space provided for 6+ guests and all your basic essentials are provided.

The home has a fenced in front yard with a huge oaktree in front of the home.

Near a major shopping center location on Derek Dr. & Hwy 14 and Walmart is up the street too. You and your guests will be in the center of Lake Charles, near plenty of Restaurants.

HEAVY ROACH INFESTATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BEWARE, this host has listed the same home twice with different pictures! The other listing has a 1* review for rat infestation. We are leaving a 1* Review for HEAVY ROACH INFESTATION! WE WERE NOT STAYING THERE NOT EVEN 1 NIGHT! NO WE DID NOT OVERNIGHT STAY! Roaches were crawling in the bathtub Roaches were in the stove Roaches were crawling on the floors, up the refrigerator, hundreds coming out from under the refrigerator Roaches on the counters, under the microwave Crawling up the walls I was afraid to stay there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! VRBO SHOULD BAN THE HOST FROM EVER RENTING OH - The host will send you a message before check in stating that the area is safe, "however" there are "walkers" but they respect the house. I had no idea what she meant by walkers.....assuming druggies, but she should have warned us about the "CREEPY CRAWLERS" IN THE HOUSE! SHAME ON THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just recently my husband and I decided to make one of our rental homes in Lake Charles, LA a Vrbo rental, now I'm a Host and learning the other side of the business, and loving it!

The home is centrally located and gives access to both major Interstates I-10 and the 210 Lake Charles loop. Close to Shopping Centers, Casinos, Prien Lake Mall, and many restaurants.

Lake Charles is a city in southwest Louisiana. Downtown, the Mardi Gras Museum explores the history of the iconic festival through colorful costumes. The 1911 Historic City Hall Arts & Cultural Center features traveling exhibitions and local art. Nearby, the giant, centuries-old Sallier Oak tree stands on the grounds of the Imperial Calcasieu Museum, a visual arts center. The city also has several large casinos.
