The house is the absolute cutest and cozy! It is located in a nice, quiet neighborhood. Conveniently located. We were in town to watch a college softball tournament so we did not have a chance to explore restaurants or entertainment. Knowing Louisiana, there are plenty of great places to eat, gamble, and find outdoor entertainment. We were focused on the softball. All the amenities were available for our use. I will definitely rebook if I have the opportunity to find myself in and around Lake Charles!!

The house was fine. Cooking supplies could use some updating. My husband came a day later, so I had him bring a few things from home. If you don’t plan to cook, then you won’t have a problem. Be aware that there is only one shower. The button to start the dryer is finicky, you have to push it just tight. The street is nice and quiet. My daughter accidentally left a necklace. Thankfully the host made arrangements for us to pick it up since we were still in town. Thank you!

Great stay

The home was so nice, clean and cozy. Perfect retreat after running around visiting our family. We were surprised by the half bath in the master bedroom so that was a plus. We would stay at this VRBO again for sure.

Farmhouse-ish rental

I believe this was the nicest rental we've ever gotten. It was clean and easy access to it. I loved the fenced in yard. My dog "Banjo" liked the bench in the front living room. He kept a watchful eye on comings and goings..Hee Hee. There was a nice dock a few miles away, that we crabbed and fished at. Will definitely rent again next year!
