Welcome to Sea & Scrub - a light-filled, four-bedroom coastal retreat on the foreshore of one of Cowes’ beautiful northern beaches. Lovingly styled and enjoyed by our family as a place to slow down, reconnect and truly unwind, this home is very close to our hearts. While we’re always a little sad to leave, it brings us great joy to share Sea & Scrub with guests so it can be enjoyed when we can’t. Designed for families, friends or couples, Sea & Scrub is the kind of place where you arrive, drop your bags, and feel right at home.

Styled in soft neutral tones and natural texture, Sea & Scrub is designed to feel welcoming, relaxed and homely rather than precious. A place to kick off your shoes, settle in, and stay awhile.

The Space
Sea & Scrub is a generous four-bedroom home, ideal for families, groups or couples travelling together.
• Three queen bedrooms, with beautiful linen and super comfortable beds.
• One bunk room featuring a double bed on the bottom and a single on top — perfect for kids or teens
Couples are very welcome too. The upstairs master bedroom is privately positioned away from the lower level, offering separation and quiet when needed.
The home includes two bathrooms, with the downstairs bathroom featuring a bath, and two separate toilets for added convenience.

Living, Dining & Relaxation
The heart of the home is the open-plan living and dining area, centred around a large dining table that seats up to nine — perfect for long, shared meals and easy conversation.
There are three TVs throughout the house:
• Main living area: Smart TV
• Upstairs master bedroom and downstairs living space: TVs with Chromecast, allowing you to log in and stream your own apps

In the cooler months, curl up by the fireplace with a book, a board game or a glass of wine and simply be mesmerised by the flames. There are plenty of games for all ages - please enjoy them and kindly return them as you found them.

Kitchen
The kitchen is fully equipped for everything from simple breakfasts to holiday feasts, featuring:
• Dishwasher
• Oven
• Electric cooktop
• A full range of appliances, cookware and utensils to help you cook up a storm

Outdoors & Beach Access
Sea & Scrub enjoys a large backyard, ideal for kids to play or for relaxed afternoons outdoors.
Beach access is one of our favourite features:
• A direct path behind the house — the path less travelled, but quicker
• A second, more worn path slightly further away
Both lead you straight to the beach — choose whichever suits your mood.

Location
Sea & Scrub backs onto foreshore scrubland, offering a peaceful, natural setting with no rear neighbours. Located just a stone’s throw (around 2 minutes) from our beautiful Northern sandy beach, spend the day at the beach swimming or exploring. We’re a short drive to the main street, cafés and shops — close enough for convenience, far enough to truly unwind.

• Check-out: Strictly 10:00am (unless otherwise arranged)

Smoking
Sea & Scrub is a non-smoking home.

Noise & Neighbours
Sea & Scrub is located in a quiet residential area. Please be mindful of neighbours and keep noise to reasonable levels, particularly in the evenings. We appreciate your help in preserving the calm, relaxed nature of the area.

Parties & Events
Sea & Scrub is not suitable for parties, schoolies or large gatherings. Unauthorised guests, excessive noise or damage may result in the booking being terminated.

Linen
All linen is provided, including sheets, quilt covers, pillowcases, bath towels and tea towels.
Please note: beach towels are not provided, so please bring your own.

Cleaning
A standard clean is included in your stay. To help us maintain the high standard of the home, we ask that guests please do the following before you leave:
• Clean the BBQ
• Please wash all dishes and leave to dry in the drying rack or place in the dishwasher and turn on
• Remove rubbish and empty indoor bins
• Remove excess sand and dirt
• Leave the oven and fridge empty and clean
• Notify us of any damage or breakages
