Relax and rejuvenate at this 1/2 acre park-like setting in the heart of Chemainus on beautiful Vancouver Island. This cozy, tranquil paradise offers 8 different seating areas to view the creek, pond, mature trees and thoughtful landscaping. Professionally designed English inspired cabin, with your private kitchen and bathroom down a beautiful lit path.
**NO SHARED SPACES** The cabin, kitchen, bathroom and entire backyard is for guest use only. Feel free to walk the grounds and enjoy the property as if it were your own.
Plush housecoats and slippers are provided for the short 10 second open air walk from the cabin to the private kitchen and bathroom. Although most guests describe the beautifully lit walk as “spa like”, please note: If you need the facilities at night, you will be walking outside.

Chemainus is an amazing town that is highlighted on the series “Still Standing”. Rich in history and perseverance, Chemainus is famous for the mural self guided tour that features over 50 murals.
Chemainus is the perfect location to have as a home base while exploring different areas of Vancouver Island.
Victoria, The Skywalk, Lake Cowichan, ferry to Salt Spring Island, Cowichan Bay, Nanaimo, Parksville, Qulicum, Coombs, are all an easy drive away.
Nanaimo airport 40 min.
Ferry service to Vancouver 35 min
(1.5 hour sailing) Harbour Air 35 min (20 min flight to Vancouver)

Central Chemainus location: Kin Beach, restaurants, and parks:
7 min walk

Theatre: 15 minute walk

Grocery Store and coffee shop:
1 block away.

The Blue Heron is also an amazing home base to explore different areas of Vancouver Island.

We really enjoyed the property. Well maintaned beautifull garden. Very clean place with fully equipted kitchen. We felt completely safe there.

Highly recommend this property. It is a lot more than renting a room. The bathroom, kitchen and bedroom are all separate buildings. We were not sure about this but after being there it is nothing to worry about. The entire backyard is yours! Very private. cozy garden.
