Looking for a romantic mountain getaway? Look no further than Bearly Hidden. This charming mountain cabin tucked away in the woods is just a mile from Ober Gatlinburg Amusement Park and Ski Area, minutes from Great Smoky Mountain National Park and from downtown Gatlinburg with its restaurants, live entertainment, museums and interesting shops. You can bring your dog too!

With one bedroom and two full bathrooms, Bearly Hidden is the perfect spot for a romantic vacation or for small families. The perfect combination of rustic cabin and modern convenience, you’ll feel at home the moment you cross the Bearly Hidden threshold. Cathedral ceiling and a plethora of large windows fill the great room with light and views of the woods. There’s a wall-mounted LCD TV with a DVD player along with free Wi-Fi so you can send photos home to friends. Snuggle up on the couch or down by the fireplace where you can listen to the crackling fire. Make use of the fully equipped kitchen to prepare anything from delicious dinners to heating up last night’s leftovers.

If you’ve skied, golfed or hiked during the day, you’ll want to start your evening with a muscle-relaxing soak in the hot tub out back. There’s a fire pit and a charcoal grill out there too, in case you want to roast marshmallows or cook steaks.

The beautiful knotty pine construction throughout the home is complemented in the Bearly Hidden bedroom by the handsome queen-size pine bedroom set. This room also features a large soaking tub where you can enjoy a glass of wine and a bubble bath together before bedtime. There are two full bathrooms within Bearly Hidden. One is attached to the primary bedroom on the ground floor and the other is upstairs in the loft. Both the primary bedroom and the loft have TVs, and Bearly Hidden has its own washer and dryer so there’s no need to visit a Laundromat.

Bearly Hidden is centrally located and a quick jaunt to experience all that Gatlinburg offers. Clean cabin close to everything

Simple and clean cabin close to trails and centrally located. Accessing the cabin down a steep hill was interesting but not impossible. Lots of hot water and space for a family of three. Management was responsive and friendly.

Definitely enjoyed our stay

When we arrived everything was perfectly clean, but we started to notice little roach bugs crawling around! Other than that it was a beautiful home with a unique location! We would definitely stay here again! Just thought we should bring the bug thing to someone’s attention 😉

Was nice and surreal

The property was very nice and clean the area of the cabin was great but the location was a little scary. A heads up would have been nice. But overall we had a great time and enjoyed ourselves very much.

Bearly Hidden cabin

Overall good. Driveway was a problem. Couldn’t get my van down and back up so had to walk it. Good exercise but not ideal with a 2yr old. There was dog hair everywhere! I had to get allergy meds for my kid because it caused allergies to act up. Outside of those things, the cabin is new, cute and Convenient to Gatlinburg and Pegion Forge. Would stay again if I had a truck or SUV. The dog hair was a big deal so that could be a reason to decline a future visit to this cabin.

Bearly Hidden Review

Beautiful Property! We loved the decor and cleanliness of the cabin. We had a little trouble getting into the cabin but the after hours line changed our code and we were able to get in. A few suggestions: -let guests know of the steep hill, we loved the location, but we passed it a few times before realizing where it was, especially in the dark. -Change the location of the hot tub. Where it is now when it rains it drips heavy right in the middle of the tub. Possibly putting up another piece of the silver tin above to stop the rain. Maybe scoot the tub so everyone can see the view of the creek would be nice :) -take off the stickers on the products like the windows, bars, sink tubs etc. to allow for a more homely look. -the outdoor stairs leading down to the hot tub would look nice with a rock path instead of the mud. -fireplace working would have added to the decor. Overall we loved it and will for sure be back!

Secluded and quiet!!

We really enjoyed staying at Bearly Hidden for our wedding/honeymoon weekend. The cabin is very secluded and quiet. We were very excited we got to bring my ESA dog, just wish he had more room to run around outside without sliding the the steep cliff. Overall we loved the cabin and the quietness.

Anniversary Stay

We found this cozy cabin a few months back and booked it. It's a perfect cabin for a couple or small family. It has a nice stream to listen to in the morning or in the evening while in the hot tub. Other reviews listed the driveway as horrible but it is manageable. We was able to get up and down all week in a 2wd Acadia. Be warned it is steep. The road leading to it is very crooked but being in the mountains it's expected.

Nice Property

The Cabin is nice and new. It was kinda difficult to find, as it is quite far down the side of a ravine and no signage. There was everything we could need in the cabin. The only real issue we had was the poor placement of the AC units directly over the bed. This would be a great place if they didn't drip, we had to move the bed out so we didn't get dripped on all night. Overall we enjoyed the cabin and it was in a very quite peaceful area.

Cute cabin - just some notes

The listing doesn’t say anywhere about the steepness of the drive. We arrived at night in the dark and we were shocked at the entrance. We are in a big 4x4 truck and this is not what we thought we would be pulling up to. To top it off, it looks like there are 1-2 new cabins being built on the same single car driveway so there were construction materials littered on the drive as well as wet concrete - because the construction workers were there during our stay. These two things were extremely frustrating because it was obvious that people had been pulling in and out of the concrete parking pad in front of the cabin and that just isn’t something we’d expect during a cabin rental (nor is it appropriate.) The parking pad says it parks 2 vehicles, but honestly.. you will probably struggle turning around or getting out. Our truck skid going up even when we put it in 4high. When we brought this up to the property managers they said ‘we advise occupants to bring a 4x4’ - but that is not explained in the description anywhere in the listing. Additionally, it took 30 minutes to get into the house as neither the door code nor the lockbox for the key were working. These things together were very frustrating. The listing also makes the outdoor space look large and luxurious but the spa is located directly under the front deck next to the ac unit and the green space around it is all downhill (probably unsafe for exploring or playing for littles) - there’s a creek which would be awesome if there were stairs or a safer way to get down. The inside of the cabin is nice and inviting and the space is used really well - the location is also very nice and we appreciated being closer to the entrance to Gatlinburg. If the driveway was cleaned up, decking added to the back of the house, and spa moved, this would be an awesome listing. We are thankful to have had a place to stay and I really don’t mean to sound grouchy - this was just our initial experience and continued experience with the construction workers using our drive and parking area. Other than those things our stay was relaxing and pleasant!

Great location and very clean.

Very nice cabin and very clean. Great location driveways a little steep but no problem. The whole process of renting the place was very smooth and easy to do thank you very much.

Private, Cute and Clean

Loved the location of this house. It was very private and close to town. It was in the gully with mountains on both sides, so it didn't have top of the mountain views, but it did have a great little creek and a small yard behind the house. It was peaceful, quite and really close to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The Welcome Center at the end of the street offers trollies to both towns, so you don't have to pay for parking or worry about driving. The house was very clean and well equipped with everything we needed for the week we stayed. The driveway is very steep and a little scary, but there is room by the house to turn around so you can drive in and out. I highly recommend this house for couples, small groups or families. We would definitely stay there again.

Smokey Mountain Family Vacation

We were looking for a new adventure and found it. The driveway is steep but part of the mountain charm. The views and location are close to it all but away enough to feel a little more private. We loved having a kitchen to cook, the kids loved the loft and hot tub and exploring in the creek. We loved our trip and the cabin.

Wonderful Stay

This cabin was just what we were looking for for a get away with our small family for Christmas. It is perfectly located in between Gatlinburg and Pegion Forge. The river outside of the main bedroom was so peaceful to fall asleep to. The loft bedroom was just the right amount of room for our preteen. The cabin was so home feeling and comfortable. The beds were comfortable, size of cabin and lay out is nicely done. The company was super convenient to get in touch with and always accommodating. Although we were snowed in and unable to get out as early as we planned for check out, the company did not rush us and was understanding of the circumstances and mindful of our safety. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can not wait to return for another trip!

The views are not as pictured. The driveway was terrifying to drive up and down. No real wood burning fireplace. There was a fireplace, but not sure how to work it. The kitchen pipes leaked and the small roaches were disgusting. Pictures were deceiving. We left a day early.

Lovely cabin, bad housekeeping

Cons: We arrived at this cabin at check-in time of 4 pm, in which the housekeeper made us wait 30 minutes for them to finish. The access code was never sent to my phone so I had to call in order to get the door unlocked. When finally entering, the cabin appeared clean until I went to use the shower...neither had been cleaned whatsoever and both had tons of hair and even pee stains at the bottom. The whirlpool bath was full of dog hair and pubes. Same with both of the beds. I had to spend over an hour cleaning and doing laundry. There were quite a lot of roaches in the kitchen area and tons of gnats in the loft bedroom. Pros: The location of the cabin is great: fairly secluded while still close to the national park and downtown area. The decor was really cute and everything seemed pretty new inside. There is a nearby creek where we found salamanders and crawfish. Overall, it was a good experience minus the housekeeping, access code, and roach problems.
