Cleaning supplies were left out and had old rags hanging from the shower rod was the first impression, beyond that the property was sufficient for the one night we stayed. The location was great for access to the park and Gatlinburg main strip. Would I search it out to book again, no, would I say don’t book here, no. It served its purpose. Check in/ out was easy and host was gracious and offered early check in, late check out for a price of course. I did not use any of the amenities (kitchen, jacuzzi tub etc) so can’t comment there. The whole place was dated obviously going for the “cabin” vibe. Yes you can hear the waterfall from your bedroom.

What a cozy and "Bear'y" cute place for a restful stay! The view out the balcony was serene and peacful, the 2 person jacuzzi tub hit just the spot after the end of a long day exploring the area, and the room was comfortable and clean. All the necessary amenities were available and it was a lovely piece of restful pleasure in the heart of the Smokies. The host was very comunicative and a pleasure to work with.

It was a great location loved the creek being below me that we could see from balcony and I was able to take my teacup poodle with us for an extra fee. It was the perfect. The host was easy to deal with. The unit is older but it was perfect for what it cost to rent. I would stay again.

yes.. it's very "quiet" and relaxing as there is a river running underneath and you are directly next to a waterfall and can hear it outside your window as you rest and enjoy the large indoor Jacuzzi or snuggle up by the fireplace. . Glad you enjoyed the easy access to downtown and hope you saw the resident bear on property.

Amazingly relaxing stay

Balcony overlooking a stream and waterfall beside the pool offered unparalleled beauty and peacefulness. The king size bed was very comfortable and relaxing in the hot tub and watching tv was just what we needed. Location is perfect for visiting Gatlinburg or bypassing Gatlinburg to go to Pigeon Forge.

The owner, Debra, was super friendly and available to answer any questions. It was a very quiet location and the waterfall/creek outside made for a very relaxing environment.

Weekend Getaway

Thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay at this property. Perfect for the two of us, and our two Goldendoodles. Unit was clean and cozy, and Debra was extremely helpful. Just a short 1.5 mile drive down the mountain to downtown, and the Great Smoky Mtn N.P.

The place was ok. Had a hard time finding somewhere to stay, but was trying to avoid hotels or apartments which is what this was, minus housekeeping service. The manager was awesome. She kept in contact throughout the process. I wouldnt recommend it due to the price versus amenities.

Location perfect and safe, However, really worn, dusty and outdated Sliding door did not lock and bannister on balcony loose. Hot water ran out before 1/2 before jets. Host texted multiple times before and during even though was aware it was a birthday trip. Also sent a text during birthday dinner offering a side deal to stay longer or checkout 2 hours later and we could leave 20 on the counter. Could hear pipes, etc. all night even though not many residents. Would recommended if just looking for close proximity to downtown and Ober.

Thank you for your feedback. First of all ,I was quite aware it was a birthday trip as you reminded me several times,so I personally left you birthday flowers in a crystal vase and some supplies in the refrigerator.. tried to go above and beyond for you. I did allow you to stay later for free (another nice complimentary bday gift) as you wanted to stay but didnt want to pay any extra. The home is professionally cleaned before each guest and is the theme and decor is a traditional "cabin" style ; hence all the other great reviews. I will address the other concerns with the home owners association and will continue to look for ways to improve the guest experience.
