Lemon Bay Hideaway is a 3/2 single-family home with a spectacular view of Lemon Bay in Englewood, Florida. Here you will discover some of the best fishing our country has to offer. The waters of the Gulf of America are only a 5 minute boat ride, accessible right from the boat dock, just steps from the backdoor. Beautiful beaches are only a 5 minute car ride, or a 3 minute boat ride, whichever you prefer! The quaint little town also offers golfing, water sports, boutique shops, fine dining, and more. Our home sits on Lemon Bay and has all you need for both an exciting and relaxing vacation. For added fun, we offer two kayaks with an easy to use kayak launch right from the dock. The views are stunning with dolphins and manatees swimming the waters just steps from the poolside deck. The boat dock is conveniently available for your boat, should you bring one or rent one from one of the many marina's in the area. There is one lift available for your use that will lift a 7,000 lb boat (or less). The lift is NOT set up for a pontoon. There is plenty of parking for your trucks and boat trailer, and plenty of beds. The home sleeps 8 people comfortably (2 kings, 1 queen sleeper, 2 twins).

Best vacation home!

My family and I stayed for a week. The house is perfect! It has great energy and is very comfortable! Paula has done an amazing job with the decor and has everything you need at the house! The dock was great for fishing and my friends brought their boat. The location on Lemon Bay couldn’t have been better!!! The pool was perfect to cool off after a day in the sun! Paula went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable and she was gracious to let my friends keep their boat there when they had a problem with their trailer! I will definitely book again!

We had another fabulous time here! Paula is a fantastic communicator. The house, amenities & location are wonderful!! We fished off the dock & even saw dolphins at the dock. The house is very clean & pool was great!!

Great place w/every amenity

Great house that thought of almost everything. It would have been nice to have the pool heated upon arrival as we lost 1-1/2 days of pool time. Also, had to run BACK to store for toilet paper or we would have run out in middle of the night. Listing says Hot Tub, there is no hot tub….unless they are considering the bath tub. They have sand chairs, toys, zero gravity chairs, cooler, beach towels, & more. Good location close to Publix & 5-8 mins to the beach. Waking distance to a few restaurants. Will be back!

Lemon Bay Perfection

I cannot say enough great things about this property and the host. The home and the property were absolutely perfect...comfortable and we felt at home there. The pool was beautiful and just the right temperature. Even though we were on the "west" coast, we were able to have breakfast each morning on the screen porch and watch the sunrise. At times we were greeted by dolphin, herons and egrets. It was a super peaceful vacation. Paula was always available if anything was needed or I had any questions. She was a joy to work with. We will definitely be returning to this property for a future vacation.

Perfect Getaway is Lemonbay Hideaway!

The Thompson’s are one of my top 5 best hosts to date and that’s saying a lot because I’ve been using VRBO since 2009! As Floridians we do a lot of “statecations” often to the Florida Keys so we have seen our fair share of Vacation Rentals this is the cleanest most well stocked one yet! This immaculate property with it’s coastal decor, screened in Lanai/pool private dock on Lemon Bay was a dream come true. The ocean breezes and zero noise makes you feel like you’re in your very own island paradise. The owners have thought of everything, the property was fully stocked with all the essentials better than any four star hotel I have ever been to. Having access to the a garage with all the fishing poles, washer, dryer and life jackets for the Kayaks. And btw the Kayak station is built into the dock for easy launch and retrieval! My wife and I were in town for a not so happy event the spreading of a family member’s ashes. However, staying at this home helped us to unwind and get a very much needed respite from the stressors of daily life. Trust me look no further you will not find a more beautiful, safe, cleaner and picturesque vacation home that can beat this Lemonbay Hideaway!

Great location for beaching and fishing

Convenient to the boat ramp & plenty of parking at the home. I like the proximity to Gasparilla Island. There is a $6 toll but at the tip of the island, I rented a bike and then parked on one of the side streets (free) and went to the beach. It’s about a 20 min drive vs.10 min to the closest beach but it’s a picturesque little town with a lot of history. You can also rent golf carts there. I went to Gasparilla Adventures for my rentals. They were awesome to work with. We ate at Landy’s and it was great. Good food, great service. Publix is super close and Walmart is also close. The boathouse at the home is exceptional. Used the grill twice and it worked great. Had plenty of beach apparatus including umbrellas.

Great amenities

We had a fantastic stay at Lemon Bay Hideaway. The house was in a great location and we thoroughly enjoyed all it had to offer. The pool was refreshing and clean and we were able to rent a boat to enjoy the waters. The neighborhood was quiet and close to many shops and restaurants. I highly recommend this listing. Great Location- Boating paradise

We brought a boat and used the lift for 10 days. Spent days exploring beaches and tiki hut restaurants on the water. Enjoyed sunsets by the pool. Good restaurants nearby. Easy transaction and Communication with hosts. No Complaints.

Great Vacation

This is a very nice house located right on the inter-coastal. The pool is awesome, grounds are nice and the rear porch, dock area are excellent. Wasn't real happy to pay the extra fee for the use of the boat lift but after the owner explained that the house sits on the inter-coastal which is a non no-wake zone and large waves constantly hit the dock, it was worth it. Our week long family vacation was made with this property. A boat is a must due to only being less than five minutes from Stump Pass and the beautiful water and sandbar. We will definitely be back.

We had a great time here. The house was super clean and well stocked and cozy. The pool/patio area is perfect for relaxing and the dock and boat lift were a bonus. The location is great for trips to the grocery store and restaurants. Paula is quick to respond and very helpful. I would definitely recommend this rental.

Beautiful home- great location

We had 2 families with 2 teenagers during Spring Break. This home is beautiful, clean, had comfortable beds, many extras: fishing poles, pool toys, beach chairs for starters. Within minutes to everything you need; restaurants, several beaches, grocery stores, gas stations, souvenir shops, & bait shops. We had a dolphin or two come everyday & give us a show. Other wildlife seen from the dock were manatee, jellyfish, pelicans diving for fish, plenty of fish. We went fishing with our coffee in the morning from the dock, and anytime throughout day. The pool is very nice & steps from the door. Highly recommended!!

Quiet and peaceful

I really enjoyed the peacefulness of this property. It’s at the end of a cul de sac so there’s really no traffic. It was fully equipped with everything and exactly like the description and pictures described it to be. The pool on site was great and we used it every day. It’s close to grocery stores, restaurants and a quick drive to the beach. The Florida room is beautiful along with the screened in patio and pool. It felt like we were outside all the time even when we weren’t. It was a pretty perfect place for my 2 girls and me to get away from real life for a week and just enjoy being together. I hope to go back. Thank you.

Very beautiful home and location.

Have stayed in the area annually since 2015. One of nicest places yet. Only drawback was that all places we have stayed before pool heat was included. Since this was more expensive than most places I expected the pool to be heated at no additional cost. Also, the pool heater was broke, no fault of the owner, but wasn't discovered until day we arrived. Pool should have been heated prior to our arrival. Because of this we were without the pool for the majority of our 9 night stay.

The lanai on the water is superb

The house is very nice but the lanai on the water makes the property wonderful! The kitchen is well supplied and there is a good supply of towels. Although we did not use them, there are beach chairs and beach towels. There were a good number of very fine restaurants in the area.

A beautiful house

We loved the property. It was beautifully decorated, and well supplied. We enjoyed sitting on the lanai and watching the dolphins swim by. The owner was responsive to our needs. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

This home is located on the widest canal in the neighborhood and is only 1 house from the corner. The view is stunning! You are literally about a 5 minute boat road from the pass to the Gulf. You can even kayak there!

This home has a wonderful boathouse. It is so convenient to walk out your back door and get in your boat, and not have to hook it up every time you want to go boating and drive down to the park to put it in the water. This is a great benefit for fishermen and fisherwomen and those who just like to cruise the waters.
