Beautiful, clean property. We had a great time!
The view from this property is spectacular! Well worth getting up a little ahead of sunrise just to see the alpenglow. :) Even the drive back to the cabin is a treat. And the location itself can hardly be beat; it's extremely convenient to both the Many Glacier and St. Mary Lake areas of GNP.
The property itself was clean and quite good overall. It was nice having a washer and dryer available. Water pressure was good, and the water quality was excellent! Very cold out of the tap, which was nice, and tastes great as well.
The only drawback in my mind is that this cabin doesn't really have anywhere comfortable to sit as a group. There's a small two-person sofa in the second upstairs bedroom, but if your group is larger than that, you'll have to use the dining stools downstairs.
Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay at this property. The host was very prompt with communication as well!
Finally, just a tip about this area in general: Unless you plan to eat out every meal, stock up on groceries MILES before you arrive. There's only one "grocery store" nearby, which had about eight mostly unstocked aisles, with absolutely outrageous prices. (Literally $11.99 for a single loaf of bread!) Bottom line is, between very limited stock and high prices, feeding yourself won't be an option unless you bring in groceries from far away.
But I digress. To summarize, we loved this property, and would absolutely consider coming again if we ever make it back to Glacier!
