HAVE YOU EXPERIENCED THE STARS IN MONTANA?
We have been in the valley for almost 50 years, love the land, the people and the entire park in general! My parents had a place on the majestic St Mary lake where we grew up in the wild every weekend and 2 months every summer exploring all the hidden gems glacier park had to offer. We built our getaway on Duck lake in 2006 for the fishing, wildlife and the utter beauty of the Montana rocky mountains just for our 3 boys to have the same upbringing I had. Now as they are getting older and moving in their own directions our place seems to be empty more and more of the time. We are happy to open up our piece of paradise to explorers of all types to experience a piece of life in Montana's wilderness.
The property is fully chain linked fenced keeping you safe while watching the boundless wildlife with views from all directions. over 100ft beach with clean weed free water (swear its the best fishing area on the lake) a dock, 2 fire pits one on the beach one in the trees for the windy days. The loft cabin we are offering is brand new. It is super unique, rustic and modern in every way. We have an assortment of kayaks, canoes and all kinds of water sports and fishing gear, welcome for everyone to use. Our main cabin is also on the property yet your stay will be quiet and relaxing, as were only usually there on weekends and for cleaning.
We just just added an inflatable air bed just to add a little more comfort for a larger group.

Do not pass this one up! Everything was absolute perfection from the time we arrived until the moment we said goodbye! The hosts, the lake, the location,The sunrise and sunset views…all of it 10 out of 10! Can’t wait to visit again!

We absolutely loved our stay at Glacier Getaway on Duck Lake! The cabin was beautiful, exceptionally clean, well stocked, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing visit. The location was peaceful, the scenery was stunning, and it was a perfect home base for exploring Glacier National Park.What really made our stay special were our hosts, Abby and Anna. They were incredibly thoughtful, welcoming, and attentive throughout our visit. We were celebrating my wife’s 50th birthday, and their kindness and hospitality made the occasion even more memorable.It’s rare to find a place where the hospitality is just as wonderful as the destination itself, but this was certainly one of them. We made some incredible memories during our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to return.Thank you, Abby and Anna, for helping make our trip so special!

This was a comfortable apartment over the garage next to the host’s house. Abby was a congenial host and the place had a lovely view of the lake and the Glacier mountain range. The only drawback was the rough gravel road going in, which had a lot of potholes, so it was a bit slow going. It also took a bit of hunting to figure out how to get to it the first time, since entering the address in google maps was a pointless process. Follow the owner’s instructions carefully!

We had a wonderful stay! The property was clean, comfortable, and very well stocked. We thought we were well prepared for our trip—until we realized how limited the food options are near the east side of the park after a long day of exploring! Finding mac & cheese and cereal bowls in the kitchen made our kids incredibly happy and was such a thoughtful touch. The view of Duck Lake from the property was absolutely beautiful, and having easy access to the lake made our stay even more enjoyable.

The place is great! The location is great! The properly is great with the available boats/kayaks etc. which is awesome! Abby and Anna are absolutely awesome! The only drawback is the road down to the property which is in absolutely horrible condition. It takes you 10 minutes to get to the road because the “driveway” is in such bad shape. I would def return though.

Very nice home. Quiet by the lake. Free canoe to enjoy the lake. Downside- mosquitoes when dark. Prepare to drive unpaved gravel road for about one mile to get to the property. Not bad , you just need to drive slowly. Owner is very nice and helpful. This property is recently built and you can smell like new home . Pictures in Vrbo are old.

Amazing stay. Absolutely will visit again. House was clean and there were pretty much everythin in the kitchen what we needed. My wife enjoyed kayaking in Ducklake and my son caught trout with their fishing pole and lures.

Couldn't ask for better!

We had a great stay! The cabin had everything we needed. We enjoyed the convenience to Glacier as well as the fishing and relaxation the space provided. It was great to get to know Abby and Anna!

Great Views and Friendly Hosts!

The lake house was a nice place to stay close to Glacier NP. Quiet and had everything we needed for a short stay. The hosts were very kind and helpful. Would recommend!
