Welcome to "Oceanview"!   The name says it all.  A big ocean view from the upstairs, this 3 bedroom/3 bath two story home is in a quiet residential neighborhood.  An easy walk to the steps leading down to Seacliff Beach, "Oceanview" is around the corner from Manuel's Restaurant and Marianne's Ice Cream. Just a 5 minute drive to newly gentrified Aptos Village with retail and tasting rooms to peruse, the soft opening of David Kinch's anticipated new restaurant Mentone, the Cat and Cloud coffee shop, and more!



"Oceanview" sleeps 6 in beds, and has a sleeper sofa in the living room for extra sleeping areas as needed.  An upper level and lower level deck allow optional exterior hang-out areas, and the kitchen is well-designed and features lots of light and a beautiful view!

During this time of uncertainty in the travel market, we want to bring to light some of the advantages of staying in a vacation rental. For our friends within driving distance, this means being able to drive to the coast in the comfort of your own vehicle, prepare your meals in a well-provisioned kitchen, and sleep in your own private vacation home, thereby avoiding more communal environments.   Cleanliness and safety in our homes is always our number one priority, and I want to personally assure you that we have expanded our already strict cleaning protocols and added additional housekeeping staff to take extra precautions between guests. We are sanitizing all high touch surfaces such as door knobs, light switches, faucets, and handles and opening windows and doors to allow fresh salt air to circulate, and we have outfitted each rental with disinfectants that can be used by guests that are in-house.

My family of four adults and two teens enjoyed our stay. The location was great, close to the beach and a fantastic ice cream shop. We had dinner at Manuals right around the corner. The house is clean, well appointed and we’re were all able to enjoy a movie comfortably, the two recliners were very comfortable as well as the couch. Access into the house was easy and communication was responsive. Great house!! Thank you

Beautiful house!

The house was super clean, very well stocked and had a great location! Short walk to the beach as well as restaurants and the best ice cream shop around! Great communication with property management, easy check in check out. Will be staying here again for sure!

House was great - perfect size. Check in at 4 and check out at 10 is a bit much though - cuts short the stay and this is not an inexpensive property.

Beautiful Home

The home was as expected plus had many kitchen utensils and appliances. Linens were very nice, beds comfortable, living room had great furniture and lots of natural light with an ocean view. Didn't care for the camera mounted on the back eaves of the house, overlooking backyard.

Great location and lots of room

This was a prefect property for what we wanted. Located in a quiet, well kept neighborhood just a short walk from the beach. Enough beds for everyone and nicely appointed. Our dog was allowed and there is a fenced yard. We never left him alone, but it was nice and secure so I never worried when he needed to go outside. The kitchen has every appliance you could want: coffee maker, toaster oven, toaster, microwave, gas oven and stove with griddle, air fryer, waffle maker, ice maker, rice cooker, and more. There were plenty of towels and linens, lots of beach stuff (towels, chairs, 1 umbrella, sand bucket and toys, a wagon to haul it all down to the beach), bikes and helmets. Nice deck with cushioned chairs and a view of the water. Big common area for games, visiting, laughing. There was some construction at the house behind, so the noise first thing Friday morning was annoying, but that is temporary and not reflective of the nice property. There was an issue with the digital lock on the door, but I texted and it was resolved quickly and when it still wasn't working in the morning, they texted a new code which resolved the problem. Walking distance to beach, restaurants, shops and ice cream! Overall a very pleasant stay and would definitely recommend.

Escape to a Cozy Beach Pad

We loved this property with beautiful sunsets, a wood burning fireplace/oven, and easy access to a wonderful Mexican restaurant (Manuel's) and other fun places not to mention the beach itself.

Well equipped house by the beach

We are impressed by how the owner paid attention to details including providing good quality towels and abundant kitchen supplies. It is home away from home for us. It is super close to the beach and I enjoy watching the birds on my morning walks. We would love to stay here again.

Comfy & clean, quick walk to the beach, highly recommended

It was great. Downstairs: 2 bathrooms / 3 bedrooms. Upstairs: kitchen & dining area,1 bathroom, & living area w/balcony & partial view of the ocean. I'd stay here again. Check in time was 4pm (2 hours later than was advertised on VRBO; hopefully this will be corrected) but that was no big deal at all & we had a wonderful time. The puzzles were a nice touch--appreciated by one of the teens during down time.

Great Family Beach House

As a family of 5 with 3 kids (aged 6-10 yrs) and a dog, this place was perfect for what we needed. It’s a block away from the beach and only 2 blocks from a few local restaurants and ice cream store (a kid favorite). The house was well stocked with plenty of kitchen supplies, beach towels, boogie boards, bikes and some family board and card games. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms had plenty of soap, shampoo and conditioner, and there was plenty space for all of us. The only things that could have been better was if there was air conditioning. A few of the days were really hot and the upstairs living area got very warm. We opened all windows and doors to get a crosswind going, which helped a lot. The downstairs remained cool. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would stay here again.

Great family vacation rental

Spacious and cozy home for the family close to the beach with a relaxing view from the top balcony. Easy access to many places and the freeway. We enjoyed the Mexican restaurant down the street, spent time at the boardwalk; which is 10 minutes away, and had nice walks/runs on sand cliff beach. Definitely would do this family vacation again! Thank you!

Great location and nice home

The home has an inverted style with a view of the ocean (not the beach) from the second floor. The home is in a great location and was nicely stocked including bikes (we did not have time to use them). I would definitely stay again at this home.
