If you've always wanted to stay in an authentic Maine cottage that evokes a time when life was simpler, here's your chance to find a new home away from home. The house is small yet charming, with well equipped workable kitchen including full sized stove and refrigerator, dining room and living room. Nice clean updated bathroom with shower plus a half bath in master. Even a washer & dryer. You can't beat the location at this price (just 265 steps to the beach). Peaceful views and sounds of running tidal creek from a great back deck. Tremendous outdoor space - front, side and rear decks. Perfect for getting your family away to a great beach community. Summer months are weekly rentals, Saturday to Saturday. If you love Goose Rocks, you'll have a great vacation at the Enchanted Cottage. Lovely rustic cottage near beach. The tidal river was engrossing--we loved watching it change throughout the day. We saw many kinds of wildlife in the area, another plus. The cottage is cozy but has lots of furnishing to make it feel smaller. Keep in mind there are many steps up to the cottage and steep steps up to both bedrooms and bathrooms, making this not ideal for some. Our family loved our time here. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Great little place, and a great location. Close to the beach, and we appreciated the use of the boogie boards. Close to all of the Kennebunkport shops and restaurants. Such a relaxing atmosphere, with the creek right behind the house, great to fall asleep to the sounds of the creek. Saw a Heron and a Mink right off the back deck. Highly recommended.

An enchanting stay at the enchanted cottage

We loved everything about our stay: the proximity to the beach, the outdoor dining spaces, the tidal creek just off the rear deck, the comfortable beds, the tasteful decor and the helpful notes left by the host. When we needed something, the property manager was very helpful. This was our first time at Goose Rocks Beach and it is spectacular.

Couldn’t get any better

Was a great stay! We will definitely return to this cozy cottage. The location was fabulous, with a short walk to the beach which we took in every single day..oh joy! Never mind watching the tidal pools rise twice daily right outside the door, a great connection with the natural beauty of the area. The cottage was exactly as described. It was homey and cozy, nothing underdone or overdone. It was perfect! Everything was thought of to make our stay comfortable. The hosts were excellent to communicate with and most definitely responsive. They definitely take pride in the property. We will return for sure!

Our stay at Goose Rock Beach Cottage

The enchanted cottage is located within few steps from the Goose Rock Beach with all the comfort and charm of the historic beach cottage. We enjoyed all the activities during our stay, hiking around the area, a fishing trip, renting bikes and kayaks, and finally relaxing in the beach. We highly recommend this area of Maine for your next vacation destination.

Wonderful location and cottage

Enchanting is the right word for this property! It’s a lovely little cottage in a quiet neighborhood. Easy walk to a lovely beach. Great areas to walk and bike ride! This was our second year and I’m sure that we will be back next year!!

The most enchanted weekend!

My fiancé and I had the BEST week at The Enchanted Cottage. The house was kept perfectly, and had room for our two friends to spend the night. The kitchen was fully equipped, and we spent almost every meal on one of the porches enjoying the beautiful weather. We are so excited to make this a tradition each 4th of July! The perfect beach spot

We LOVED this property. The owner was upfront about the property and available via text during our stay. The house itself was very charming and the perfect size for our family of 4. The kitchen is well equipped and a good size for a vacation spot. The deck is AMAZING and offers a perfect spot to sit in the afternoon protected from the sun so you can enjoy the tidal creek in the backyard. The walk to the beach is less than 3 minutes and the beach itself is perfect for kids of all ages. We will definitely be looking into booking this property again in the future!

Another perfect weekend here!

This was our second time staying at The Enchanted Cottage and it did not disappoint. We had beautiful weather for May and enjoyed time on the beach and walking the coastal neighborhood. The cottage is beautifully decorated with more updates. A quiet, peaceful neighborhood near the beach. We walked to the Tides Beach Club for dinner one night too. One of our favorite places and we will be back! Phil is wonderful to work with.
