This home is just steps away from multiple dining experiences, shopping, antiquing and ocean excursions. Kayak, scooter and bicycle rentals are available just around the corner, within walking distance from this property. Explore the beaches of the Kennebunks, located within less than a mile from Doane's Wharf, or enjoy a peaceful walk while drinking your morning coffee at the beautiful Fransican Monestary.

Beach permit, linens, blankets and towels are included as part of the rental.

Family vacation

The house was in the best location. Very easy walk to downtown to the shops and restaurants. However, the house definitly had signs of wear and tear and not quite as clean as I expected it to be. There was also an awful smell in the bathroom.

Perfect Stay

My fiancée and I spent the week between Christmas and New Years in this wonderful cabin and had a perfect time. Very cozy space and so close to all the best restaurants Kennebunk has to offer.

This was our second visit and we will be back next year. Its such a charming cottage, that is wonderfully decorated and very comfortable and enjoyable to stay in. The kitchen is fully stocked with all cookware, glasses etc. The location on the water and walking distance to downtown is so beautiful and convienant.

Perfect Getaway

We had a wonderful stay! The entire process from booking to checkout was smooth and easy. Pam, the host, was incredibly responsive and made sure everything was in place for our arrival. The place itself was cozy and perfect for a winter retreat, with the fireplace adding an extra touch of warmth and comfort. It had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The location was ideal—just a short walk to town, so we could easily explore local shops, restaurants, and attractions. Quiet retreat near everything Kennebunk has tonoffer

Pam’s property was perfect for a family of 3. The location was beautiful, the house was clean and the outside deck was a huge bonus. The kitchen was well stocked and the family room had high ceilings so it felt open and airy even rainy days. Two minute walk and you were already in town, short walk to the beach. A perfect stay!

December vacation

We visited for a December get away. What a fantastic vacation. We have been using VRBO properties for vacations for over 25 years. Pam’s house is hands down the best place we have ever stayed. We will definitely go back.

Perfect location & house!

Girls trip brought 3 Miami ladies to Maine. Location of the house could not be better!! Kitchen was fully stocked & Pamela even got us a crock pot for our stay, would absolutely recommend & look forward to coming back! Cynthia

Great place to stay!

Everything was perfect! Location great for walking to restaurants and shops in town. Didn't move our car for 3 days! Also really enjoyed watching the tide come in and go out from the deck. Highly recommend!

This is a unique property that was originally 2 fishing houses combined together, where a family owned lobster boat would arrive at high tide to deliver their daily catch. Although this property is fully renovated, one wall was left standing in the primary bedroom, which accentuates the history and charm of the cottage.
