What people rave about: the large open concept kitchen with island seating, that flows into the sunroom allowing large family dinners as well as quiet cups of coffee in the adjacent sunroom and access to a half bath for guests. The large gathering space/living room with the sectional, cozy leather chairs for reading, gas fireplace for chilly nights and large flat screen TV. Plenty of space to gather together and nooks for quiet as well. The north wing of the house has a queen bedroom with ensuite bath. The south wing has a second master with king and 8 foot slider to the yard and ocean beyond. Also in the south wing are 2 additional bedrooms, and large bath, soaking tub and laundry. Over 2100 square feet of rambling one floor living with peeks of the ocean from almost every room

House was in a quiet neighborhood with close and easy access to beach from backyard. We had a wonderful family vacation with 6 adults and 2 children under 3. The size of the house was perfect. There are sidewalks to walk on the street and a general store which is walkable.

The property is as advertised. The appliances are high end and the kitchen is the most fully stocked we've ever experienced.Rob was a great host!

Sand Castles and Sunsets

I organized this vacation for my 4 children, their significant others, and my granddaughter. I hoped to start a new family tradition over Memorial Day weekend.My late husband passed away two years ago just before the holiday This was the perfect way to honor his memory and the things he loved most in life-spending time with his family, cooking up a storm, and building incredible sand castles at GRB!!! Everything about our stay was PERFECT!! The layout of this home is spectacular. The homeowners have thought of literally everything you might need and it was at our fingertips. The kitchen area is where we generally gather as we all love to cook. There was plenty of room for us all to be together in this great open space. The kitchen drawers are filled with every utensil and tool necessary-even a knife to shuck oysters! There were plenty of beach chairs, beach towels, bath towels, and bed linens. The path to beach was a very quick walk. We were able to walk down and see a beautiful sunrise before breakfast and a few sunsets after dinner. The backyard is lovely as well! We enjoyed sitting around the fire pit and once again there was more than enough seating for everyone! We were pleased to find extra sand shovels and buckets and a beach umbrella. It wasn't quite warm enough for the outdoor shower but another great feature. We can't wait to return!! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!!!

Wonderful Stay at our Favorite Beach

We were lucky enough to stay here for eleven days and couldn't recommend the house more. The direct access to the beach was great and the fact that we didn't have to worry about linens or towels made packing and traveling much easier. We have been coming to Goose Rocks for years and, once again, loved every minute. The Gosling is a comfortable home with plenty of spaces to relax and be together as a family. It is beautifully appointed with everything you'll need for a wonderful stay!

Dreamy Stay

We had high expectations for the Gosling from the photos and reviews and they were exceeded by the reality! The house is beautiful in all regards, decorated so thoughtfully. We really felt like we were in our own beautiful home rather than a rental. The neighborhood is beautiful and the beach amazing and an easy walk. We hope to return next year, could not have been happier!

A Perfect GRB Vacation!

Our stay at the Gosling was an absolute dream! From the thoughtful welcome basket to an incredibly well-stocked home, there was no detail that was overlooked. The location is perfect - just mere steps away from one of the most stunning beaches in the Northeast. The house has undergone a beautiful and extensive renovation, and everything is so inviting and comfortable. Our family of five had all we needed and then some - beach towels and chairs, cozy bed linens and a great collection of games. We enjoyed many nights outside by the fire pit wrapped up in comfy blankets. Rob and Annette are very caring and responsive, and they put so much thought into this home. We have been coming to Goose Rocks Beach for many years and wholeheartedly recommend a stay at the Gosling. We cannot wait to return!

WONDERFUL HOUSE AND GREAT LOCATION!

Oh, what a wonderful and relaxing vacation! Our family of 5 spent a most memorable week at The Gosling, just a few steps from the beauty of Goose Rocks Beach. From the moment we opened the door, we knew we had made the right choice. The house was immaculate and beautifully decorated from end-to-end. There was plenty of room to give everyone “space”, but also space to get together and to entertain. Preparing meals in the very well-equipped kitchen and sharing meals at the family-sized table turned into a daily event. We were provided with everything we could ask for -- from plenty of beach chairs to invitingly made beds and a wonderful book collection. And sitting by the living room fireplace was a cozy place to gather on chilly nights. The owners were a pleasure to deal with and very responsive to any questions we had. The description on VRBO is totally accurate – no disappointments. We’ve been coming to GRB for 30 years and look forward to future visits!
