Friends call it "the treehouse" because of the cathedral ceiling, lofted-layout of the second floor. Meanwhile, the bedrooms on the first floor stay cool and comfortable all summer.

The bay beach of Red Cedar Point faces west for beautiful sunsets, and the community of private roads provides you with hundreds of meters of beach, almost all to yourself. During lower tides, the water is shallow enough to stand more than 100 feet from the shore, making it a giant playground for safe water fun. Into kite or windsurfing? The bay is considered one of the best spots on Long Island.

The neighborhood is next to a state park, with a nearby inlet perfect for using the kayak and paddleboard to see some local wildlife. A five-minute bike ride leads you to state park trails suitable for hiking and mountain biking.

Interesting and attractive location, walking distance to large quiet beach. Clean and well equipped house. We had a few issues along the way but landlord was responsive and cooperative.

Wonderful Home

This house and thIs VRBO experience were exceptional. This house is in a perfect friendly neighborhood that is walking distance to a private beach . The owners Mark & Monica anticipate any possible need that could arise. This clean, beautiful, spacious home with mindful hosts made this VRBO incredibly welcoming and a winning combination for our Summer. Will be back.

Perfection

I'll keep this fairly brief and simple. This home is incredible. If you're looking for the perfect place to stay in Hampton Bays, this is it. The homeowners were extremely responsive, the house is clean, new, spacious and carries a wonderful vibe. The location...steps from the beach, convenient drives to Montauk and the surrounding areas. The back patio...private and welcoming. The amenities...kayak, beach chairs, paddleboard, cooking supplies, etc etc etc. We are so glad we found this gem.

Wonderful, relaxing home in Hampton Bays

We had a fantastic week at this lovely home in Hampton Bays! The owners are very responsive, but also give you space to enjoy the house. Home is beautiful, clean, and very well-cared for. Upstairs you can enjoy a gorgeous kitchen which is stocked with really nice cookware (we loved cooking here). Living room and deck are so comfortable, and you are surrounded by plants, books, sound system and a fireplace. There is a private beach just a short walk from the house, which is a huge bonus. We were there almost every day and the privacy of the beach was wonderful. This home also comes with an immaculate backyard set up for summer fun. Thoroughly enjoyed our time here and hope to return!!
