Palms Resort #2613 is a Junior 2BR/2BA condo that is located on the 6th floor with a spectacular view of the pool. This lovely 2-bedroom condo offers a master with a king bed and the smaller second bedroom has a twin over full bunkbed and its own bathroom entry. For additional sleeping arrangements a sofa bed is available in the living room. You even have your own washer and dryer to complete this beautiful unit. The 11,000 square foot, 259,000 gallon zero entry pool is DESTIN’S LARGEST LAGOON POOL! You'll be blown away by the 5 dancing waterfalls, walking bridges and spacious lounging area.  There's a 21,000 gallon heated pool, children's splash area and whirlpool. Snowbird Season runs November thru February. For a quote, select an arrival date (must be the 1st day of the month) and a departure date (must be the 1st day of a subsequent month). Located on 15 beautiful acres, The Palms of Destin Resort and Conference Center offers an unbeatable, upscale experience in the heart of Destin at an affordable price. As an exclusive guest you will enjoy Destin’s largest lagoon pool beneath swaying palms or simply enjoy our many amenities including kid's activities, fitness center, kids' playground, tennis and basketball courts. You'll also be within walking distance of Joe's Crab Shack, Bubba Gump Shrimp Factory, The Back Porch (a Destin classic), Ruth's Chris Steak House, Jim-N-Nick's BBQ and Hooters.  

The 11,000 square foot, 259,000 gallon zero entry pool is Destin’s largest lagoon pool! You'll be blown away by the 5 dancing waterfalls, walking bridges and spacious lounging area. There's a 21,000 gallon heated pool, children's splash area and whirlpool spa.

The Palms of Destin Resort features a 2,265 square foot state-of-the-art fitness center including elliptical cardio treadmills, cross trainers, bikes and summit trainers each having a personal entertainment system.

The Palms of Destin offers full size basketball courts and two lighted tennis courts, with complimentary equipment available from guest services in the resort lobby. The Palms of Destin also offers lessons and clinics taught by USPTA and USPTR tennis professionals.

Seasonal shuttle to Public Beach, Destin Commons, & Harborwalk Village. Henderson State Park at a small fee.  Please inquire with the front desk for information on shuttle times. The Palms is a smoke free complex with an array of amenities. Some amenities are occasionally closed due to unforeseen circumstances.

Also, for the younger guests, a nautically/pirate themed outdoor playground features a 1,750 square foot soft play area with various creatures from the sea, slides, and a treasure chest!  Destin Commons also has a mini train for the kids. Destin Commons features over 75 shops and restaurants, including Godiva Chocolates, AMC Movie Theaters and Bass Pro Shop

Room and access to and from were decent. Balcony view of the pool and ocean were great!! The pool was very clean and the area very kid friendly. Bistro downstairs in main lobby was great for morning coffee and late night grub.

Family Vacation 2022

We had an amazing time at The Palms. The kids loved the pool, everything was very convenient for our family of 5. The restaurant,bar, and coffee house has great food and drinks. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The beach is within a couple minutes drive. I would definitely recommend to any families with kids. The condo was very clean and perfect for our family of 5.

It was amazing and super easy. It was our first time and had no problems.

Great!! Everyone was friendly and helpful. Every time we left to venture out our kids kept asking when we were going back. They loved it there! Pool, Food, Drinks, everything you needed were right there. Also the Shuttle was amazing!!! The gentleman that drove us that week so safe and very informative.

Hopeful for Others

I wish I could brag about the Palms but we were a bit disappointed with our stay. The room itself was great however we had to smell weed from the neighbors every time we walked out the door. Also, there is only one pool that is heated and it was always over capacity. Don’t count on the shuttle during spring break as it was always booked and not dependable. We won’t return on spring break, but not because of the room it was perfect!

Frequent destin / palms of destin visitor

Bad drainage in master bathroom sink and tub constantly overflowing from regular use. Master bedroom did not cool adequately and the lack of proper curtains constantly allowed bright light due to the property pool at night giving a constant daytime appearance at bedtime. The furniture seems very worn and run down as you immediately sink in whatever you sit on. Great views but property needs a revamp/ maintenance do over!

Very busy

We had to buy more toilet paper, paper towels and dishwasher detergent. Expense’s we didn’t necessarily budget for. Real joy directions were a little bit vague. Had to cross a very busy street to the beach so we only went once. Spent most of our time at the resort pool which was well maintained. I also found unopened Nicolette gum in my bed which made me question the cleanliness. I hate to be negative but I will not be back.

Great for family vacay!

This was the perfect amount of space for our family! Room had everything we needed. Shopping was nearby to stock the rental which was great! We honestly spent way more time at the palms than I originally thought we would because we didn’t really feel the need to leave since we prefer a pool over the beach anyways. The pool area was amazingly perfect!! We went everyday! The beach was nearby so that option is there. The bistros food and drinks are so good! The meatball sandwich was top notch! The only thing I would complain about which isn’t really a huge deal is the distance from the parking garage to the room, yuck! Finding a blue cart to unload when arriving didn’t happen for us bc they were all being used so me and my 14 and 10 year old unloaded everything by parking in front of the building, avoiding the fire lane, and hauling it all to the room. Luckily we had a cart when it was time to go haha GAME CHANGER! The view from the balcony was perfect! We will definitely be booking this room again next time!!

Nice Little Slice of Paradise

The missus and I really enjoyed the stay at the Palms of Destin. We usually come down every year, and most years stay in the Palms. This is the first time staying at this room, but as usual the condo was nice. Great view from the balcony, and the bed and couches were comfortable. All the usual high expectations were met. The only big issue we had was not with the condo itself, but the pool area. We've stayed at the Palms 4/5 of the past years because they have the best pool and resort. I think something with the staff has changed this year, because instead of the usual oldies/ beach style music (Elvis, Beach Boys, Jimmy Buffet, The Four Seasons, Frank Sinatra, etc), they played newer pop/clubbing garbage (Sabrina Carpenter, Ariana Grande, some rap, etc). And then another day they didn't play any music at all. Definitely did not help the pool vibe; maybe the makeup of the year-round tenants has changed in the past couple years. We spent a few hours of 3 days at the pool during the week. Other than the music at the pool, great stay!

Wonderful property with great amenities for adults and families!

The condo was amazing with a wonderful balcony view of the oasis pool and outdoor restaurant and bar areas! We've stayed at many units at The Palms of Destin amd all were wonderful! We'll be back soon!

Fun vacation

We had a great time and would definitely stay again. Location is right across from the beach. The pool, coffee bar, and bistro are all very good. The balcony is in the perfect spot. The only issue we had is when we arrived the condo was not the cleanest. There was dirt and dust on the flooring and furniture and some dirt clumps on our bedding. However, We would stay again. I just wish it was cleaned a little better!
