The most beautiful 2 bedroom, 2 bath loft apartment you ever “saw” “plane” and simple. It is on a quiet cove at Lake Wedowee, 5-6 miles from town. Gently sloping walk to lake, part being a boardwalk. Private apartment with parking and private entrance. You will have shared dock access with property owners. Dock has recently been renovated and enlarged with pergola and boat docking space. Modern fully stocked kitchen with new appliances. Master bedroom with king bed and private bathroom. The other bedroom is on the opposite side of the apartment. It has a queen size bed and complete bathroom a few steps away from bedroom. Entire apartment has been recently remodeled and updated. A retired carpenter and his wife (the Woods) live next door and are the owners. Washer, dryer and large screen (65inch)TV with DirecTV service. You will have no problem “chiseling” out time for fun. Sleeps 4 in beds with room for an additional 2 persons. No cleaning fee!

Need to put an address on the rental. Had to do a little research to find the host. But after several phone calls to the host’s family(which was very nice and helpful), we found it! The owner was super nice and friendly and I will definitely be staying there again if we are in the area!

Lake getaway

The loft apartment was exactly as advertised. Well stocked kitchen. Internet was not strong, but who cares. Dock access was great. Wedowee has 2 great grocery stores and not too far of a drive. Owners are very helpful and friendly. The dog on the property was good therapy and we miss him!

Excellent location and hosts.

The property owners are so accommodating and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The place is awesome and so quiet, which is just what we needed. We'd absolutely recommend to anyone staying in the Wedowee area.

We loved being nestled away at the Woods!

We had such a nice time… The bed was comfy and everything was clean!!! Plenty of cooking gear too! We made dinner there and that was the best meal. The Dog was the Hi- light. Boe is the best Host you will ever want for. He’s a greeter. And like the Woods say, bring him a good healthy treat. Thank you for sharing your other home with us. The only thing I could have asked for world have been a kuerig coffee maker 😊. But other than that we were at home in the woods 🌲.

I did not even get to stay in this place. Very unsafe check in . Host does not care about safety

I didnot check due to major safety issues. Host left door unlocked and just left the key on the table. VRBO has yet to refund me!!!!!

The Most Relaxing Getaway

I honestly can’t say enough great things about this apartment or the super hospitable hosts. We felt perfectly at home enjoying the water, reading books, and just enjoying the restaurants and shops in Wedowee. The apartment was exceptionally clean, the kitchen was very well stocked, and the bed and appliances were perfect. We will certainly be back. Thank you for having us.

Greeted by a beautiful dog and cat

Loved being upstairs in the house with only a stairway on bottom with garage and storage rooms on the bottom. Short walk to the lake. Went to the cavern and cheaha State Park while there. Leaves were vibrant colors and loved the time we spent here.

A wonderful place to visit

My stay at the "wood shop" was very enjoyable. The apartment was spotlessly clean and I have to say those beds were so comfortable. It was stocked with everything you'd need. Very relaxing sitting on the dock and taking walks in the quiet neighborhood. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating as were their sweet dogs. I definitely will be back. Thanks Jeff and Valine!
