Relaxing Cove

This is our third year in a row renting this cabin. We enjoy the quiet and relaxing cove. It is a good distance from the town, so make sure you take what you need. The boat dock is GREAT and accommodates our ski and Jon boat. We bring our paddleboard and enjoy paddling through this cove. The owners have 2 kayaks you can use as well.

Peace and Quiet!

Wonderful, open, spacious feel of a "camp" on the water, with all the amenities of your normal house!Beautiful view, and absolutely no noise, with great privacy!Bring anything you'll need for your stay, because you will not want to leave while you are there! (but if you forgot anything...Dollar General is a stone's throw on the main road!) Gas station close by, and Bobber's Bar and Grill, right on the main road.Loved the kayaking and swimming!We will be back!

Kick off to summer

We had a great stay and loved the location and property. All the kids caught tons of bass, crappie, catfish and brim right off the dock. We enjoyed the kayaks available and the cove is very quiet and calm. It is a summer trip our family will remember We will book the property again in the future for family lake trips or bass tournaments! Pam was a very nice and approachable host we had everything we needed within the house.

Beautiful Lake Family Getaway

Our stay at Pam's lake house was nothing short of incredible. The house was suited for all of our needs, and accommodated our family of 4 (two adults, two kids) perfectly. The boat launch was perfect for our two small children who prefer walking into the lake, rather than jumping off the dock. The two-story dock was great for fishing and lounging. We felt comfortable and safe our entire stay. It would be an honor to stay at Pam's house again.

Bass Fishing Vacation

We are 4 Older Bass Fishermen that rent a house on a lake every year. This is our 3rd stay at this house. Works great for us as we can keep our boats in the water and kitchen and dining area is great for all our meals.

Love Wedowee

Loved this place once before. The dock light, a big reason we returned to this cabin, was unavailable. This time, the cabin was not as clean as expected. We hate to leave a bad review, but it wasn't the best experience. Neighbors also complained about no-wake zone violations; however, there are no signs indicating a no-wake zone. We paid a significant amount to stay for two nights and were just not satisfied. Tried to add pictures

Never disappoints!

We have been coming to Wedowee for quite a few years. We have been staying at Pam’s lake house for the past 5 or more years. She is a gracious host and always checks in to make sure everything is okay!! Recent renovations make it even better!

Great location and accommodations

This was our second summer staying at this location. We LOVE the layout and location of this property. The host, Pam is easy to work with and very accommodating.

Father's day weekend fishing trip

My brother's & I decided to take our 90 yr old dad fishing off the dock for Fathers day and had an absolute blast. Our dad enjoyed himself and the facilities were superb. Most likely stay again in the future. Thanks Miles family. Rod

Alright but not good for fishing unless you have a boat

It has potential . When they sent directions to the cabin I was like awesome can’t wait but there was a list of stuff to do make sure all towels were washed and dried and all dishes washed and dried and all garbages bagged . I mean we always clean the places we stay anyway so really no big deal but when we got there , their was left over cupcakes sitting outside and a garbage can on the top deck that was full and nasty and NO I didn’t empty it before I left I did throw the cupcakes away . It just irritates me that they threatened to charge me more if I don’t do what they want and someone else can leave it . Plus there is a woman that comes and cleans the property and I did pay a cleaning fee . That wasn’t the worst part I have pics of the problems inside . Receptacles and light switches hanging out of the walls with no covers on them . If you have kids like me you don’t want them to go and turn of a light switch and it shock them . They really need to fix the renovations that they have started . In the lower section a portion of the ceiling was gone and in the master bedroom these small bugs kept getting all over the wall . The bathroom up stairs don’t even have a door it just has a curtain so yeah there’s that . I didn’t find out about the road to the cabin till I got instructions to the cabin you drive from blacktop to a red dirt road which was bad for my van . It’s not for a family with kids . Grocery store is 1 hour away . We didn’t stay the full time we left a day short

Old Bass Fisherman

We are 4 older fisherman that plan a trip every year. This is our second stay at this house and it meets our needs very well. We cook all our meals at the house and the kitchen and dining area are great. The dock is perfect for leaving our bass boats in the water with the launch right across the street. Outside facilities are outstanding. Pleasant stay.

House and dock were excellent. Great hosts. Dirt road is bumpy so strap your trailer down, and buy your groceries on the way in.

Always wonderful

A quiet cozy getaway tucked away on the beautiful lake wedowee. We spent our honeymoon here and loved it so much that we booked again for our anniversary. Pam Miles is such a wonderful host as well. She is always going above and beyond to make sure we are taken care of. We will definitely be coming back!

My favorite place ever!!!

I wish I could make some story up about how terrible this place is so I could rent it all for myself but I just can’t….it’s amazing. Favorite place to stay on the lake and I’ve stayed at several. I would give anything to be able to buy this place and retire here. Always great!

Quiet cove

We REALLY ENJOYED our mini vacation at this cabin. Quiet cove with private dock. Spacious living area. Good sleeping accommodations. We especially enjoyed the outside seating and porches. The dirt roads are too treacherous for fancier boats, but the marina is a short drive to the house. The owners are VERY ACCOMMODATING We will DEFINITELY be returning to this location.

Beautiful and Quiet

This house was perfectly located on a quiet inlet with a covered dock. The gas marina is a short boat ride down the lake. This was the best stocked kitchen we have had with a VRBO rental. The host is super responsive and proactive to make sure we had a great vacation. We will definitely be back.
