Beautiful riverfront property for your enjoyment! Level lot with covered RV canopy and additional garage for your vehicle. Extra large private lot on a smooth, quiet stretch of the Pigeon River near Townsend TN and the Smokies! Fish, tube or just float right off your back deck! Newly completed rock firepit and concrete patio overlooking river's edge with rock stairwell for easy access going down to the river. Spend quality family time making memories here! Watch the river from inside the great room of the cabin or on the deck either one.
Security camera on parking area to monitor vehicle count; note that photo ID will be requested when booking has been accepted.

The house is close to all the places we wanted to go: Cades Cove, The lost Sea and all different hiking trails in the Great Smoky mountains. We had a wonderful time. The house was perfect for us I even caught a few fish on the river property.

This house is perfectly situated on the river in an area that has extremely easy access. It was great for a two and a half year old to be able to play in the water as well as his pregnant mom, his dad, and me, his granny. It's a very short drive to Townsend and the park as well as Cades Cove.

Week long getaway

Great Place to Access the Smokies

Cozey place to stay - close to the GSMNP for daily hikes & exploring. Also, close enough, but away from the crowds of Gatlinburg/ Pigeon Forge. Everything is well stocked, from laundry soap to basic spices to paper goods. There's a small grocery store nearby for most needs & Maryville is not far & has plenty of big box stores. Host is very responsive & helpful. I would highly recommend this spot!!!

Make your memories here

Our stay at Riverbend exceeded our expectations. The overall layout of the chalet provided plenty of privacy, roominess, all while maintaining that at home coziness. The gas fireplace, wrap around deck partially covered, river view, along with fire pit by the river equals perfection. We roasted hot dogs and made s'mores with our year old grandson,which made it priceless.

Fantastic Little Spot on the River

Three of us guys stayed here over Labor Day weekend and rode motorcycles through the mountains. The covered parking area was a nice touch. The outdoor space was very very nice! The fire pit down by the riverside was our favorite spot. The back deck was nice, too, and was where we drank coffee each morning before heading out on our rides. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. Elaine was easy to work with and made our stay fantastic. We'll be back.

Riverside coziness...

This cozy property was the perfect location between Maryville and Pigeon Forge. Situated on a quiet, flat road on the river, its so convenient (and a beautiful ride) to Walland or Townsend. The driveway is gravel and we were on a motorcycle, but its manageable. You can't easily ride under the shed portico but the RV/carport suffices, just a little tricky to turn around. The cabin has everything you need for a really pleasant stay but we spent most of our time on the deck and the new riverside patio. If you need modern decor and furnishings, this might not be the place for you - but we found everything, as pictured and just right for us. A few extension cords in the bedrooms would be helpful for bedside plug-in capability. While we were alone this trip, we were confident two couples would be comfortable, but the seating in the kitchen would be tight. Definitely want to come back to the beautiful setting!

Family Time...

Decent place to stay on the river. It could use a little updating. There was Christmas and fall decorations. It was clean and very well stocked kitchen for a rental! All the way down to a crock pot. Nice if you plan to do any cooking. Each bathroom had 3 rolls of toilet paper to start and the kitchen had a half roll of paper towels with an extra full roll if needed. Nice touch! Not the cheap stuff either. The kitchen table could benefit from a simple table cloth. Seating for 6 at the table. Decent living room furniture with directions for the TV. Brand new, beautiful, see thru deck. Very Nice! Able to sit and gaze out at the river flowing by. About 4 or 6 decent chairs on the deck, a picnic table and a charcoal grill. There was charcoal there as well. Fairly quiet minus the occasional loud vehicles on the main road. The road going in was level and curvy, just use caution, it seems to be a favorite among bike riders. Neighborhood was quiet. Great, quick response contact with owner. Can fish, float down river, have a bon fire, etc. Enjoy!

Great location, right off the road, easy to get to.House was very nice and loved the firepit area at night.Bedrooms and bathrooms were nice and clean.Only thing I would say about house is that the floors in living areas, need better cleaning as there were left over items...especially under dining table and next item explained. Spider webs are common so not really issue, unless you don't like those 8 leg visitors.Would advise loose gravel parking, so not best for motorcycles, but very doable.Bring or buy own wood...as nothing really provided.We would stay there again, so nothing to really complain about. We also did a little art project during evening, after riding around...so look for rocks with few painting and saying. Enjoy

Great getaway

We enjoyed our family vacation so much. The cabin has views of the little river from every room. Started our mornings with coffee on the upper deck watching the river. Our grandson enjoyed the hammock. We spent time in the river which was so relaxing. We saw a family of ducks, river otters, a big heron and a turtle. July 4th was a fun time there grilling hotdogs and spending time with family who live in the area. The beds were comfortable and there was everything needed to make meals in the kitchen. We hope to come back in future. It is a peaceful place and a quiet area.

Pictures Don't Do It Justice!

It's hard to capture how awesome this location was in pictures. It was the perfect combination of everything we needed to keep a family of four (including a teenager) entertained and content. We loved just sitting out on the deck or by the firepit to just take in the river, but it was also a great location to go out and explore the more adventurous and 'tourist' sites of Pigeon Forge and other great places within an hour drive. We are already planning our next visit out.

Beautiful cabin and property!
