Chalet in the middle of nature, benefiting from a great quietness, a few minutes by car from the shops and the slopes. This haven of peace located in the hamlet of Le Planet, typical of the Savoyard Alps, offers both the possibility to recharge your batteries and the ideal conditions for a convivial stay.
This part of the valley presents some difficulties of access and will require for sure winter tires in season.
The chalet includes a large double living room with a dining room, two comfortable bedrooms and a third "refuge" style bedroom. A modern bathroom and a well-equipped open kitchen will allow you to make the most of your stay.
The accommodation has an open fireplace which, for safety reasons, cannot be used.
During snowy periods of the year, snow tyres or chains are mandatory according to Decree No. 2020-1264 of 16 October 2020 relating to the mandatory equipment of certain vehicles during winter. You can find more information on this subject at Légifrance.
In the event of non-compliance with this law, we decline all responsibility in the event of inability to access the accommodation and will not be able to assist you.
The Planet hamlet is typical of the Savoyard Alps, ideally located between the Grands Montets and the Tour domain. It has been a tourist mecca since the beginning of the 20th century, as evidenced by the old Hôtel du Planet. It is also a crossroads for hiking, walking or mountain biking to enjoy our wonderful valley in any season.
The chalet is accessible by car, from Switzerland (border at 10 km) or from Chamonix. The access road is regularly cleared of snow but has a significant difference in altitude. Nevertheless, it is necessary to bring winter equipment. The nearest train station is Montroc-Le Planet, a ten-minute walk away. The bus also serves this station and allows you to reach the different ski resorts as well as the village of Argentière (all shops), 15min by walking from the chalet.
Parking for 1 car on chalet level included. Further parking spaces available in the parking lot 150m above.
