Our house is a very pleasant place to live—and especially great for relaxing!
A former mazet, the house stays cool in the summer. We’re very close to town while still retaining the spirit of the garrigue.
We have a large main room with an open-concept kitchen, plus two bedrooms that open onto this room, as well as a spacious shower room with a walk-in shower. On the other side of this room, there’s a “foyer” (walk-in closet, utility room), followed by the other two large bedrooms and their shared bathroom—which is why it can easily accommodate two families...
The garden is enclosed, full of trees, with little nooks here and there. We set up a large above-ground pool on sunny days so we can cool off and enjoy the garden.
Swimming spots aren’t far away — 23 km to the river along the Gardon and 45 km to the beaches—Grau-du-Roi (very crowded, though), L’Espiguette (a haven of nature and peace, even in high season), and Sainte-Maries-de-la-Mer......
The Pont du Gard is also 30 km away. Worth seeing by canoe, too!—departure from Collias (20-minute drive)
Shops nearby—Marché U is 5 minutes away, a huge Intermarché and Lidl are 10 minutes away, and Carrefour is 15 minutes away. Of course, there’s the famous Halles in the city center, where you’ll find all the best regional products, as well as farmers’ markets on certain days.
We ask our guests to be considerate of the neighborhood. We’re in a quiet area. No parties or loud music after 11 p.m.!
