In the south of Ardèche, discover the Gîte Laumaga at Domaine le C4 (annual reopening from April 4th, 2026).

To help you locate us: we are 68 km from Montélimar, 90 km from Avignon TGV station, and 110 km from Valence.

From Domaine le C4, you can easily reach the most iconic sites of Ardèche: thermal baths such as Les Thermes de Vals-les-Bains, picturesque villages (Balazuc, Labeaume…), the Chauvet 2 Cave, the Pont d’Arc, and the Gorges du Chassezac (just below Domaine le C4).

Description of the Laumaga Gîte in Ardèche

This 110 m² gîte offers high-end amenities, including a private spa and sauna, a fully equipped kitchen featuring a Lacanche stove, and a relaxation area set among natural rocks leading directly to the shared swimming pool.

• Access the estate’s pool from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. (private use for the Laumaga Gîte from 8 p.m. onward), open may to september

• Pétanque court and ping-pong table

• Free on-site parking (with one electric car charging station)

• Bicycle storage available

• Massage sessions (treatment menu sent upon request; reservation required)

• Breakfast: available on reservation the day before, delivered directly to your gîte (€15 / person)

A Family Story This adventure began in 1975, when two young newlyweds, Vincent and Michèle, their son Laurent and his grandfather Edouard, moved into this old ruined bastide. At that time, there was no bridge connecting to the village of Casteljau, nor a tarred road... just a ruined building on the peninsula of Lauzaces in Casteljau, at the end of the world. In 1977, a small restaurant-pizzeria was born with Vincent at the wood-fired oven and Michèle at the reception, the business became "la bastide". Then in 1981, the bar "le c4" opened with the iconic Citroën c4 parked in front of the entrance to the site. Since then, Laurent, the son, has become a chef. With his wife Laure, he then developed the restaurant Le C4, a friendly and family-friendly place where wood-fired grills rub shoulders with pizzas. In 2015, in tribute to his grandfather, "La bastide d'Edouard" was born in the large stone building, where two 5* accommodations "LAGON" and "RIVIERE" are available for rent. In June 2022, the opening of La Villa LAUMAGA 5* will follow. The swimming pool is exclusively reserved for guests staying in the accommodations.
