GuestReady - 4 guests apartment Grand Théâtre

Located on the 2th floor without elevator of a Bordeaux building, our 30m2 apartment offers a lovely view of the top of Rue Sainte Catherine, Place de la Comédie and Place Tourny.

The studio comes equipped with all the basic essentials needed for a comfortable stay, these include a kitchen fully-equipped with an oven, microwave, toaster and hob. There's a dishwasher at your disposal.

2 sleeping areas can welcome 4 guests, 2 in the main bedroom, and 2 more in the mezzanine.

The bathroom has a shower and a hairdryer. Towels and sheets are provided.

We are GuestReady, a property manager, and we want to ensure your stay will be as smooth and comfortable as possible. We are available 24/7 should you need any assistance during your stay. Kindly note that this is a personal home so please take good care of it as if it was your own.

The downtown area offers an insight of the Bordeaux' way of living: small streets full of of surprises with many terraces, restaurants and other small artisans and traders. Pleasant and authentic neighborhood, it will allow you to discover Bordeaux by foot and walk on the main squares: Place de la Comédie where singers, dancers and passers-by shared the stage, Place de la Bourse to discover its reflection in the largest mirror of water of the world (Miroir d'eau) or the place du Parlement, a must for diners on terraces on summer's evenings.

Close to Tram B and C, Place du Palais and Place de la Bourse stop
From the airport you will take bus 1 to Gambetta.
From Saint Jean train station, tram C to Place de la Bourse (5 minutes from the apartment)

This property is a self-check-in property, and you will be requested to verify your identity before being able to check into the flat. You can check in any time of the day as long as you respect our standard check-in time (2 PM).

There is a zero-tolerance policy for smoking on the property. If our team discovers evidence that this rule has been breached (e.g., smoke smell, ashes, butts, etc.), we fully reserve the right to charge a €300 smoking fee at a minimum.
Small pets are allowed for an additional fee, payable at the time of booking. Please be mindful that their presence should not disrupt future stays or disturb our neighbors. Guests are responsible for removing any pet hair from the property, and we reserve the right to charge for additional cleaning or any pet-related damage.

Great location!

The apartment was very nice, but the loft has a very low ceiling and the stairs leading to the loft are steep and narrow, not easy to navigate. The shower would be great if it drained properly, standing in dirty water is not enjoyable. The apartment had not been cleaned when we arrived, although that was remedied quickly. Overall, the apartment did not feel very clean. Again, the location was wonderful with great views from the big windows.

Conveniently located

Cozy little apartment in the middle of downtown Bordeaux. It is near a main throuroughfare so you will hear a lot of pedestrian traffic below. We had some issues with hot water, but overall had a good stay.

Great Bordeaux Location

Nice stay in a great bustling location- less than one block from the Intercontinental Grand Hotel. Furniture was clean and basic. Be advised that there is no elevator and the stairs are steep. This is not a complaint- but be aware that this is not the place for someone with mobility issues.

Great location, but issues tainted the stay

The great advantage to this property is the location, but note this property is in a pedestrian-only zone and there is a multitude of pedestrians between 9am and well into the night. Area bars do not close until 0200, so there’s some more interesting noises well into the night and early morning. We had a number of issues with the property and advised the property management via email of these issues as well as photographs of stored unclean linens and towels, unwashed coffee cups, a broken chair and a bathroom has a very slow draining shower and the room has a constant odor of urine. We did not receive a reply to our email, and after sending that we also learned the freezer door in the refrigerator wasn’t attached. The apartment does not have a television nor does it state that it does, but it does have good internet service. The key was not in the lock box when we arrived at our confirmed check-in time. We had to stand outside on the street with our luggage until a gentleman let us in and helped with our luggage. The apartment itself is on the second floor which involves navigating rather narrow spiral stairs. The apartment is probably better suited to younger guests who will spend almost all of their waking moments experiencing the beautiful city of Bordeaux, but it was not suitable for us more mature guests.

Si la literie et le matériel adéquat était présent, on note cependant que les recoins et les plafonniers-ventilateurs étaient remplis de poussière. Dès traces d’usures sont visibles, en particulier dans la salle de bain qui mériterait un petit rafraîchissement. Les ventilateurs, notamment le petit ventilateur d’appoint ne marchaient pas, très dommage alors que la température a dépassé les 30 degrés. Je n’ai eu aucune réponse pour avoir un ventilateur qui fonctionne. Pour le surplus, tout correspondait à l’annonce. Il serait cependant utile de préciser que le logement ne dispose que d’un simple vitrage, et que le volume sonore de la rue est très haut la nuit.
