LEATHERBARK #301B - 2 BEDROOM - BEDDING: Master Queen and Queen Sleeper Sofa, BR #2 Full and a Twin- SLEEPS 7. The Master bedroom can be used as a second living area with a sleeper sofa and a full bathroom., #2 bedroom is a loft that includes two separate sleeping areas sharing a ½ bath. TV and foosball table. Large living space with high ceilings and an electric fireplace. Fully equipped kitchen with washer and dryer. Walking distance to Wild Cat Provisions. Located on the basin side of the mountain.

Amenities: Free WiFi, Free Long Distance Calling, Free Resort Shuttle Service, Parking on Site, and Bike Friendly lodging. NO AIR CONDITIONING

UPDATED HOUSE RULES:
~ Reservation holders must complete check-in requirements.
~ The reservation holder must submit a photo of their driver's license, and a selfie holding their driver's license for verification
~ A signed Rental Agreement must be returned within 24 hours of booking
~ No Pets - Pets found in non-pet properties are forbidden and will result in immediate eviction without refund and incur a $250.00 charge to the credit card on file
~ No Smoking or Vaping.
~No large gatherings
~ Check in time is after 4:00 PM
~ Check out time is 10:00 AM
~ Mandatory quiet hours between 10 pm and 8 am
~ Minimum age of reservation holder is 25
~ No mailbox access will be granted, no exceptions are made.
~ For homes with a private hot tub, a cleaning fee of $100.00 is charged at the time of booking.

Everything you need and close enough to walk to lifts/village

We had a great few days at Leatherbark. Loved the secure parking and easy access to village, shuttle, lifts, etc. Great bed configuration for 2 adults and 2 kids. Great stay all around!

Pretty view

This place was great for our last minute stay for 7 friends all able to stay together. The kitchen added great value for us to cook and eat as a group! We will be back!

Practical Condo

Ten minute walk to resort. If it’s a busy weekend the shuttles are not near enough and you might wait for a long time at a bus stop. Property was dated but clean. Dishwasher leaked. Overall pretty convenient location and practical condo with washer/dryer and full kitchen.

Great weekend at the mountain

This property worked great for our two families including 3 toddlers(two 3 year olds and a 14 month old). Walking to the village/ballhooter lift was easy enough for adults and the bus stop is right at the Leatherbark entrance. Be aware that the upstairs loft area is open to below so plan accordingly with little ones. Our 3 year old had no issue sleeping upstairs with noise/light but some may. The kitchen isn’t huge (which was fine as we didn’t plan any serious cooking) but is well equipped with essentials. There was a good amount of space in the main living area for the littles to play.

Great location!

Had a great time skiing at Snowshoe and staying at Leatherbark. Location was convenient, with shuttle bus stop right in front. Be mindful that the stairs to the loft is quite steep - we had to make sure our 3yo always came down with us. Hot shower was excellent, just what we need after a day out in the snow. Getting food was a challenge as the local "grocery store" is barely stocked (something the property manager provided heads-up). If you plan on cooking yourself, make sure to bring enough food yourself or be ready to pay a relatively significant delivery fee for the convenience of not having to drive an hour one way to a walmart. Overall very positive experience. Will rent again!

Review in Description

We arrived on New Year’s Eve, the listing states “contactless entry” however it doesn’t say how check in works. We received no instructions so, we drove to central check in for guidance and they didn’t have the keys. It wasn’t until around 7pm we got a text with a door code. The property itself was wonderful with a great location near the village but, the host could be more responsive. If you book here be sure to get this info in advance.

Great condo, spacious and comfortable for 4-6 easily

Clean and very nice. Not really ski-in/out but a short bus ride or seven minute walk to town. Convenient with a tremendous view!

Spacious condo just down the street from the slopes

Comfortable and spacious condo about 1/2 mile down from ski school and the main lifts. We drove the slopes each day as we had young kids with us and didn’t want to haul all of our gear with them. Comfortable beds and the condo had everything we needed for cooking all of our dinners.

Our portfolio includes a wide variety of privately owned properties throughout the resort, ranging from cozy studios to spacious multi-bedroom mountain homes suitable for families and groups.

While not every property is located directly on the slopes, the majority of our rentals are slopeside and provide ski-in/ski-out access to beginner (novice) trails within the main terrain area of Snowshoe Mountain. Many homes also feature scenic mountain, village, or Western Territory views. The Western Territory is a separate section of the mountain known for its long vertical drop and expert terrain. This area features some of the steepest and most challenging trails in the region and is designed primarily for advanced skiers and snowboarders.

Casago Snowshoe provides professional vacation rental management and guest services year-round, welcoming visitors for winter skiing and snowboarding as well as summer mountain biking, hiking, festivals, and other outdoor recreation.
