We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Nokomis. The house was perfectly situated for us to ride our bikes to the beach and the Legacy Trail, as well as to the store and a couple of great restaurants. We were very comfortable in the house and enjoyed the mild breezes while sitting on the screened-in porch. Because it's set back from the road, and because the road is not very busy, the house was generally very quiet. We enjoyed the "wildlife" as well: a gopher tortoise, several bunnies, and an array of birds all kept us company. Our hosts were super friendly, gave us a great orientation when we arrived, and replied promptly and helpfully when we had a question. We feel very lucky to have been able to spend two months in such a lovely location.
