Best experience for respectful students

Our daughter want to experience Paris with a friend. I found this small and cute place at the same neighborhood I stayed in 1996. Their experience was everything we were hoping for. This apartment is very well located and safe for two college girls. Thanks for the management company that runs it.

Issues

The apartment was not as presented online. When i arrived i saw some crumbs all over the kitchen, i contacted the host but they did nothing about it. There is mold in the toilet/shower. The drains on all of the sinks in the kitchen, toilet and shower did not let the water flow. There was also marks on the kitchen wall of what looked like flooding. I unfortunatly booked this accomendation for 20 days and i tried to speak to the host about cancelling and getting refunded but they were not cooperative. Therefore i had to use the apartment and i did not feel comfortable at all in the place for all those days. The place is overpriced for what you get. Overall the place had so many issues. There is also no light in the halway/staircase of this floor so once you leave the apartment you have to use your phone light to see where you are walking.

Needs attention

The rental could be a nice flat, but it is neglected. Mildew in shower, stained shower curtain, missing doorknob, cracked mirror, water egress and 5 ft stain/mild in wall along electrical line (which is a potential fire/health hazard), lack of furniture (2 kitchen chairs + stool), window shades torn or not working. The walk up to the flat is 3 flights and not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. It could be romantic , has good bones and a good location, but needs attention, particularly the water egress.

An attic apartment

We could have used more instructions. This was all done virtually and we had trouble with checking in ourselves using the key, We had trouble finding a lite to turn on. It was a very dark stairway. Everything else was very good.
