Just steps to Sea Colony's half mile of private beach and oceanfront pools, this one-level resort retreat features a living and dining area, well-equipped kitchen, full hallway bathroom and bedroom (with a private half bathroom of its own). Central air conditioning, washer, dryer and more. Accessible without stairs. 2 flat-screen TVs (49' flat screen in living room), 2 DVDs, Wifi.

Beautiful view

The place is small for more than two people, even though it fits 6. The view and access to the beach were perfect. Seeing the sun rise was a treat - extra treat was the full moon at night, reflecting on the water.

Wonderful

I didn't want to leave. I hope you will welcom us back should be look to return. Our first family vacation with just the 3 of us. Our toddler enjoyed the swings on the beach so much. The space was perfect for us. I read half the owners copy of "MASH." I've wanted to read the books that inspired my all time favorite show for years. It was like it was there waiting for me. Clean beachfront condo

Condo was clean and we love the beach front location at Sea Colony amenities. Vacasa property managers were quick to respond to any questions. The condo needs updating, and it was very tight when using both the pull out and the murphy bed. However, it did the job for an enjoyable beach trip with the family.

Beautiful View

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The view is amazing. The queen Murphy bed was an added plus for our kids. Unit was clean. Unfortunately all of the chairs on the patio were broken. Hopefully the owner can fix this. It was disappointing that we couldn't sit out there to enjoy the view as much as we wanted.

Small, but sufficient

Plenty of sleeping space in the condo, with there being a pull-out sofa and a Murphy bed available. That said, it is very small so utilizing all of this extra sleeping space may be tricky. Outdoor chairs need to be updated. Our stay was otherwise very nice, and the condo was very clean

Great location

Took my two teenage daughters to the beach for a long weekend and this place was perfect for us. The kitchen had everything we needed, great wifi, and clean. Easy access to the beach and walk to the boardwalk. The blinds in the living room were either not working or too complicated for me to figure out how to close, but as a result we ended up waking up in time for a gorgeous sunrise one morning! The place is a bit dated so if you are looking for something fancy this is probably not it, but if you are like us and came for the beach, it’s great!

709 Dover house

Enjoyed the condo. Can’t beat the view. Linens and pillows need to be upgraded. Also called Vacasa at 9:30 am one morning because the outer door was locked and we didn’t hear back until late afternoon. They said they would contact us within 10 minutes. Luckily we found a maintenance person to let us in.

This property has shockingly high reviews but many of the issues prior reviewers brought up have never been resolved. This property has skated by based on oceanfront location and convenience alone. I expected the blinds to let a lot of light in and be barely hanging on per prior reviews (and they were), expected a seriously dated interior (which it was), but did not expect to be given a comforter with blood on it... 1. When we checked in around 10:30am, we were told to expect a text when the room was ready. Otherwise, it would be ready at 4pm checkin time. We spent 10:30-3:30p on the beach with our exhausted 4yo after driving for 8hrs that morning. No text was ever received. We decided to try our luck on the door that was not supposed to open until 4pm otherwise, but it did. Really would've appreciated the text or call that was promised when the room was ready. 2. When we arrived, there were 2 washcloths for 3 people for 4 nights. Other things were as expected in prior reviews- peeling wallpaper, old carpet, blinds letting in a lot of light in the morning. Amenities included a VCR and boombox though. We showered right away and discovered 2 of the 3 bottles in the shower (s&c, body wash) were empty. Texted Vacasa at 5pm to report these issues who responded at 11:47pm and rectified the next day at ~9am. 3. Despite the dated interior and earlier issues, things were going fine until the last night we stayed there when I noticed the comforter I had been using had blood stains on the bottom! It is unreal that people are being charged to stay in this unit.

Outdated and in need of some repairs

We typically don’t post reviews but this one clearly needed updating and some repairs made. Several of the slats on the vertical blinds that were on the main sliding glass doors leading to the balcony were broken or missing which might not be too bad except we had our girls in the Murphy bed in the living room and the sun woke them up ver early. Entry closet was dirty and cram packed. Bedroom closet was unusable because it was stuffed full of pillows and blankets and there was not enough room for the vacuum and ironing board which were against the wall in the bedroom. Most of the drawers on the dresser were broken and very hard to open and close. Faucet in bathroom attached to the bedroom leaked. One cabinet doors in the kitchen was broken and didn’t close. Murphy bed was nice but trash was underneath it when pulled out. Most of the games were missing pieces or had broken pieces so they were unusable. Bar stool smelled like pee. Refrigerator has a broken shelf which was just left on to of refrigerator. Ottoman was broken.

Nice place that could use some minor improvements

We love this unit for many reasons - the view is spectacular, enough room for 6 people comfortably, and a great location near the elevator and its assigned parking space. Some issues we have after staying here for 2 years in a row - A little outdated with some of iits features. Mostly though, the cleaning isn't great. Vents were caked with dust and we had to call Vacasa about dirty sheets we found in the pull out bed. Vacasa refunded us our cleaning fee, but those things shouldn't have been that way.

Beautiful View

Our family has stayed at Sea Colony before, last time was over 10 years ago. Generally we stayed across the street in the condo units. But this time we wanted the ocean view, we were not disappointed. Things have gotten built up in the area compared to a decade ago. We did appreciate the Dunkin Donuts across the street. And there were plenty of restuarant's and shopping within walking distance. The unit we stayed in was nice. But could have used some TLC. Minor repairs here and there. The Murphy bed did not have sheets and the pillow top cover probably should be replaced. Overall we were happy with our stay. The people and staff were very friendly. Would stay there again and recommend to a friend.
