As surprising as it may seem, for safety concerns we have had to eliminate offering umbrellas and boogie boards from our beach closet. Recent events have demonstrated all too often beach umbrellas are hastily/incompletely installed and when left unattended their "flight to escape" when unexpected breezes flare, have injured and severely disrupted other folks relaxing on the beach. Unfortunately, the boogie boards safety concerns are self explanatory. But as these items can be rented directly at the beach or purchased at very reasonable prices locally, we have had to remove them from our beach closet. We left our Villa 10 days prior to your arrival but do note there were two short family stays which occurred during that period. An insulated, collapsable cooler was available in the closet when we departed. There was also a complete set of mixing bowls nested one in another along with rubber made food storage containers. It is true that on occasion items "grow legs" and disappear. Once we are aware of an issue, items are replaced asap. We offer several amenity items: kleenex, paper towels, dish soap, laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, sponges, dish cloths, tp and bath amenity soaps and lotions. Housekeepers are instructed to leave re-useable items such as spices, napkins, food wrap, aluminum foil; however, they are not included in the overall amenity care package. One month prior to your arrival we installed a new sleeper sofa, love seat, area rugs, coffee tables, florals and had the Villa freshly painted. Lastly, we have contacted the stove manufacturer to address your well placed concern about the fading stove top burner diagrams and are working on getting that addressed.
